You can connect to Wi-Fi and make phone calls on Lufthansa! The service and food on Air Astana are better, but the seats on Lufthansa are more comfortable. Plus, Germans like it cool, so it can get a bit chilly onboard.

For the first time, I really felt the difference in service and understood exactly what I'm paying for.
It seems flying with Lufthansa might be on the pricier side, as the flight was only half full. We were in German airspace. If it weren't for my instinct, I would have missed breakfast. They began serving food 40 minutes before landing, offering an apple pie, muesli with yogurt, a roll with butter and jam (they must love sweets here), and a vegetable salad. 😊

Thanks to a tip from a friend, I managed to make the most of all my Lufthansa miles. Unlike many other airlines, they allow you to "spread the joy" starting from just 3,000 miles. 😊✈️

"The plane didn't land in Domodedovo, so it was canceled" - that's what I heard at the reception :-)
