Lake Gardens

  Lake Gardens, located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur near Jalan Cenderawasih, is one of the city’s oldest parks, originally established in the late 19th century. Known formally as Perdana Botanical Garden, it spans over 91.6 hectares and serves as a lush urban sanctuary featuring over 500 species of flora. A prominent attraction here is the National Monument, a tribute to Malaysia’s war heroes, which draws visitors for both its historical significance and striking bronze sculpture. Springtime, particularly in April and May, showcases vibrant blooms within the garden, making it an excellent time for nature walks. Visitors can stroll along the beautifully manicured pathways, explore the serene lake, or enjoy a picnic amidst the greenery.
