« Singapore. Let's talk about the weather. Have you been to Hama? Same thing. It's humid and hot. No, not just hot! It's extremely humid and unbearably hot. In all places and transportation, air conditioners are working, but at this temperature, it feels like it's designed for refrigeration. No matter how hard you try to turn the AC down or off, it’s pointless. In hotels, the AC is controlled centrally, so all you can do is bundle up with two blankets; I regret not bringing my shawl. Every day after lunch - it's typically pouring rain! It clears up occasionally for about an hour.
