Royal Park Rajapruek
Royal Park Rajapruek, located near the Anandamangalams, is a significant botanical garden in Chiang Mai that was inaugurated in 1993 to celebrate His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's 60th birthday. This expansive 200-acre park features a variety of flora, showcasing over 1,000 species of plants from Thailand, including the beautiful Doi Kham roses and colorful orchids. The park's centerpiece is the impressive Ho Kham Royal Pavilion, which reflects traditional Lanna architecture and serves as a museum celebrating the region's cultural heritage. Open year-round, the park is particularly lively during the vibrant flower festival held in February, when visitors can explore stunning floral displays and themed gardens. Guests can stroll along the scenic pathways, enjoy a picnic amidst lush landscapes, or engage in photography amidst the diverse plant life.
