« Graz - the capital of Styria in Austria. Just by the name, you already know you’re heading to a nice place in Styria! 😏😍
Graz is a small town, and it's only a 3-hour drive from Vienna. To me, it feels somewhat reminiscent of Bergamo in Italy... not far from the capital either. It's a tiny, cozy, charming spot. 🏠
The first thing to do in Graz is to hike up to Schloßberg Castle 🏰. It's best to do this on foot (though there’s a funicular). From there, you’ll have an amazing view of the terracotta roofs of the city! I can't wait to come back here... already feeling nostalgic about it and my favorites. »
« I want to share one more photo from Austria before bed. The beautiful, quiet, cozy, clean, neat, polite, and very "proper" Graz. Everyone crosses the road only at pedestrian crossings and only on green. People are generally reserved, but they will always help you find the post office or a hotel, offering to translate the names of all 20 ice cream flavors from German to English without any prompting. 😊 »
« Graz made a much better impression than Vienna. »
« Graz is yet another wonderful city in Austria. My vacation is coming to an end, but the positive emotions just keep flowing! ☀️✨ »
