« There are such entertainments here, like riding on dog sleds, a multitude of little bonfires, and our kids particularly enjoy the free "snowball" attraction where you jump into the snow and lie down, and parents don't forbid it. Another popular activity for our kids turned out to be throwing something into a fire pit, which is also entertaining and free, plus at every corner there are giant snowdrifts, that's another unique attraction.
Now, about the prices here; considering drinks, coffee, excursions, entertainment, lodging, etc., they are quite high. For example, riding the dog sleds costs about $160. You can meet Santa and chat, of course, for free, but the combined photo will cost you $40. So, if you’re unsure about whether to go or not, it’s definitely worth it for us; for a family, in this case, it’s a bit easier than anyone would expect since you just hop in the car, drive 1,000 km, and you’re at Santa's place.
We spent the night in the village of Johanessuu, and as it turned out, most were also planning such a trip 😂. It's like when you still believe in a fairy tale from childhood, and here it is brought to life beautifully realistic. »
As for the experience, we were a bit unlucky with our reindeer — it moved pretty slowly and was a bit distracted. In the cabin, you can get warm in a cozy reindeer skin blanket, take some lovely nature photos, and even spot a fluffy reindeer ahead. Depending on the distance you choose, the sleigh trip crosses over the Arctic Circle, and you’ll get a certificate for that (though it's an additional $7). Afterward, you can enjoy some hot drinks by the fireplace. »

We visited the Santa cave, enjoyed the ice bar, had a Swedish snack for two 😋, watched two concerts, took loads of photos, and then headed to the heart of Santa's village. Everything is beautifully decorated with lights and trees; it’s all so festive! We even got to meet Santa himself. There was a bit of a line, but it was worth it to see him!
Now, about the prices—definitely not the cheapest experience, but I’d say it’s worth every penny! Here’s the breakdown:
* Entrance to Santa's cave: €35
* Swedish snack in the cave: €18
* Photo with Santa: €32
* If you want two photos and a video: €45
For what it's worth, this is an experience that you should definitely have at least once in your life. It’s all about the magic of childhood! ✨ »
