« 🌍 Azure Coast (Nice, Cannes, Monte-Carlo) 🌍
Yesterday, we flew to Venice, drove to San Remo, and today we spent time in France (Nice and Cannes, where the photo was taken) and Monaco. I'm an enthusiast of road trips – exploring three countries in a single day is exciting!
Now I understand why the Azure Coast is called that way – the water in the sea is truly a brilliant blue. But beyond that, there's a lot of charm and beauty to discover today. It seems to be one of the most luxurious and glamorous resort areas, yet I didn't see anything particularly out of the ordinary. The only two differences I noticed from other places I've been were the luxury cars and boutiques on every corner. And, honestly, that’s not a bad sight. ❤️
The beauty of Cannes is impressive with its intricate architecture, wide promenade, and ample pedestrian areas perfect for taking a stroll.
I was more looking forward to Monte-Carlo, but I only saw countless yachts and old-timers.
Staying there wouldn’t be advisable – the prices are hefty, and relaxing is just about the same as being busy for a few hours. I have no idea what tourists do here, spending a weekend or two 🏖️ Maybe the summer is livelier, but I can’t be certain.
🍽️ Food: average bill - $50-80 for three, coffee - $15-20 for three.
🚗 Parking: narrow and low, mostly underground and private; average price - $2-4 per hour.
⏳ Time spent walking: about 2 hours to one area. »
