« Königsallee is one of the main attractions in Düsseldorf. Beautiful buildings, elegant and well-dressed people. The best hotels (aside from a couple of Hyatt-like options in the Hafen area) and boutiques of the world’s top fashion houses. A place so aristocratic that it sometimes feels like even the passing birds hold advanced degrees and have accounts in the nearby Deutsche Bank. Seriously, taking a stroll here is a true pleasure, especially since it’s on the way to the old town. »
