« Since the weather in Florence was nice, we decided to take a ride on a red double-decker sightseeing bus 🙈, which turned out to be very convenient, interesting, and, most importantly, fast! We managed to cover all the attractions and even get to the furthest point of our route - the Michelangelo Square, from where the most beautiful view of Florence opens up 😍. The cost of such a bus tour is around $24 per person. »

« The dome of the cathedral. Here, for the first time during my trip, I was shocked by the prices. To be precise, the price - the only ticket option was a full ticket for 15 euros. Want to go up to the observation deck? Nope. Want to visit the museum separately? Nope. Just the full ticket, with no alternatives. For comparison: the Colosseum and Roman Forum cost a total of 12 euros, and a full ticket to the Milan Cathedral was 11 euros. Even in Venice, the "similar" prices were lower. But the church itself is very beautiful, that can't be denied.

P.S. But the church itself is very beautiful, that can't be denied. »

« The view from the Leaning Tower of Pisa is amazing! 😍 It's just a 1-hour train ride from Florence to Pisa. The ticket costs about $9, and trains run approximately every 30 minutes. It's such a lively little town, with even more tourists than at the Eiffel Tower. I highly recommend a visit! ☀️☀️ »

« Florence is a beautiful and serene city where you can have a pleasant and rewarding time! There’s plenty to see and excellent restaurants at quite reasonable prices, as well as great shopping. Everything is within walking distance. 😊 »

« The club scene in Florence is right in the spotlight, with musicians visible straight from the street. However, DJ Paolo Morelli suggests you still come inside, as the entrance is free. »

« Very rainy Florence. Luckily, I bought an umbrella yesterday for 3 euros. »
@n_cheredn
« I suggest not to rush to the Ponte Vecchio - it's just incredibly crowded, and the prices are outrageous 🔥🔥🔥. I don’t really like anything there. Except for the antique shop, its window is in the photo, that’s 💛. »

« I wanted to take a photo with him, and he started telling me something in Italian, and then I realized he wanted 1 euro. »

« Today, we comfortably traveled to Florence on a regional train. It's best to buy tickets for all city transfers on the Trenitalia website. You can get tickets at low rates in advance (for example, we bought a ticket from Rome to Florence for just €20 for two). However, you can also purchase tickets immediately at the station from the machines. If you buy a ticket on the same day, the price can be significantly higher. The cost also depends on the travel time. The navigation at the station isn't complicated; just pay attention to the screens (platform numbers) and the signs. »

« Amazing frescoes, sculptures by famous artists, and stunning decorations. Florence is a must-visit if you're short on time to explore the city. The ticket was €6, and there were hardly any lines. »

« To escape the crowds, I decided to head to the suburbs. The most famous place is Fiesole, just a local bus ride away for €1.20 one way. If you're feeling bold, you might get away with not paying, as they don’t really check. Up there, you'll find stunning views of Florence, charming houses clinging to the hillside with little lions at the entrance, ruins of Roman and Etruscan buildings, churches and monasteries dating back to the 10th century, and the beautiful hills surrounding it all. »

« As usual, the locals prefer to get around the city on bicycles or scooters: it’s faster, more convenient, and cheaper. Both can be easily rented: a bicycle for $3 an hour or $13 for the whole day, and a scooter starting at $27 for 5 hours. Wide open streets await you✌️ »

« Arriving in Florence by car, leave it in the large free parking lot at the famous Piazzale Michelangelo, which offers a panoramic view of the city. Don’t look for parking closer to the center; that area is mainly for locals. Below, it’s strictly timed and expensive – starting from around $1.60 per hour. And from there, it’s just a 15-20 minute walk down the hill to Santa Croce and the old town. By the way, in the evening, couples come to Michelangelo to enjoy the sunset. But if you walk a bit further to San Salvatore al Monte, you’ll be treated to the best panoramic views of Florence. »

« Probably all Rinascente department stores with rooftop cafes have an amazing view. The prices are influenced by that too! But most people will just come, take photos, and leave. 😊 »
@ga_redan
« For views from the highest point in Florence, you could create an entire page. It's really convenient that there's a single ticket for 10 euros that covers several sites. »

« The inner courtyard of the monastery complex at the Basilica of the Holy Cross. Since photography is not allowed against the images of saints, I didn’t take any pictures inside the church. I wasn’t allowed in wearing a sleeveless dress and shorts, so I had to buy a robe for 1 euro 🙆🏻 By the way, some of the altars here were painted by Donatello. Here rest the celebrities of all times: Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli 🙌🏻 There's also Dante's empty tomb, as his body was never transferred to Florence 🙆🏻 It’s hard to believe how much history this city holds; I think all art geniuses are from here 😇🙌 »
@daisy3103
« Today, after lectures, we took a stroll through the largest palace in Florence - the Pitti Palace. Here, you can find works by Raphael and Titian, Rubens and Caravaggio, my favorite Botticelli, and Van Dyck. It's surprising how few tourists there are in the palace, especially compared to the Uffizi and the Duomo where it’s really crowded... The entrance to the palace is $14, which includes access to the Galleria Palatina, Galleria Arte Moderna, and the room showcasing works by Carlo Dolci. A separate ticket for the Boboli Gardens and the Costume Gallery costs $11...  »
@lekaraduga
« I made it up higher and got stuck on the dome for almost an hour)) By the way, their tickets are super convenient. You buy one for €10 and it includes entry to the tower, the crypt, and the baptistery) all together))) »
@lovakov
« I had to pay 8 euros to enter the church, but it was impossible not to go inside. »
@pasha_2309
« Palazzo Vecchio... 5 hours in the old palace, breathtaking paintings, frescoes, and statues! A video guide on a tablet helped us navigate, which you can get for $5 at the entrance... »
@gurilev
« Florence is a beautiful city, but the center is teeming with people. Maybe it's because today is Sunday. We wanted to visit a park (which, by the way, are quite rare in the city), but the admission fee of €10 per person felt a bit much for a park. So we moved on and decided to check out a fortress, but we couldn’t get in there either because of a conference happening. »
@theamareese
« Public transportation in Florence, by the way, the fine for riding the bus without a ticket is €250. »
@fedorovaolesia
« Rome's metro system is straightforward and convenient. A ticket costs $1.60. The signs are conveniently placed at foot level. There are only two lines, and directions are indicated by the names of the first and last stations. »
@annsidor
« In January, we booked a hotel in Florence called "Kraft," and the reservation was non-refundable. However, they were accommodating and extended our stay until the end of March. We had three nights for €280. The hotel has a good rating and is located in the heart of Florence, the capital of Tuscany. The view you see in the picture is from the rooftop of the hotel, where the pool is located. We'll let it go for a lower price, even though this rate is already significantly cheaper than what it is now. »
@vialina_vialina
« Only on Airbnb can you find all this splendor at an affordable price - $40 a night))) my little vintage kingdom in Florence for the next two days. »
