« Here’s the scoop on Milan. My first impression? It’s a bit soft, to say the least. It’s dirty, with homeless people everywhere and silly scribbles on the walls. Not exactly aesthetic! And it’s super hot! So there you go. I’ll just pop out for a bit and see if I can find something beautiful! I’m determined to find something amazing! Fingers crossed, it’ll be a gem))) »

« The Gathering of Mary’s Birthday 💖✨ One of the reasons for my visit ✨
Today, we finally made it to the event, even in the evening's dim light. In the daylight, I think it looks even more beautiful! »

« I want to ensure these photos don't get lost. 😅

When I flew to Milan, I was prepared for the possibility that it might not be to my liking, as many of my friends had told me their opinions. After some soul-searching, I tried to understand where this perception might come from. To me, it seemed like Milan might not hit the mark, primarily because:

🤷‍♀️ You expect to see the typical Italy, yet most of it feels more like a bustling city vibe than, say, something you'd find in a picturesque spot like Paris. You don’t see narrow streets or charming old houses, which can make it feel less quaint.

🤷‍♀️ I wasn’t ready to splurge on experiences. The "just wander around" strategy isn’t the most effective here. You’ll find yourself wandering through shops, but it’s a bit tricky to find something truly unique.

And La Scala—art galleries nearby—they’re just beautiful! »

« Central station in Milan during sunset. What a magnificent view! It's hard to even describe how beautiful it is. My destination is just around the corner. 😊 »

« 🇮🇹💖 How much I adore Italians! Their charm is absolutely unparalleled!!! In every detail, in every stitch, in the beautifully crafted fabric! For them, beauty is not measured in kilograms 💖💖💖, but is served with love and sophistication! 💖💖💖

I can't bring myself to shop from stores where the fashion looks like it's just hanging with no flair or understanding of how to combine pieces. It's hard to pick something out in a place where a million things are just standing around... 🛍️👗🧥🍀🍀🍀

Yesterday, wandering around Milan, I discovered some small boutiques, cozy eateries, and shop windows that showcased unique items. It's all about focusing on one or two pieces and not trying to show everything at once. 🏆 I understand that Italians simply showcase their expertise in this way 🏆, and if you love their style, they'll pick pieces that resonate with you! For me, this is really valuable, and I hope that similar approaches become more common in my area! 🤖

Wishing everyone a wonderful day and glorious sunny vibes!!! 🤖 »

« Dojirnaya photograph from Milan - Duomo. This collection definitely makes an impression 😄. The impression actually begins even before you get there. I couldn't enter today, so I'll go tomorrow morning. But overall, the feeling is such that apart from Duomo, there's not much else to see. Yes, everything is beautiful, but somehow I just didn't find enough. »

« I'm so happy! 😍
The Dumo collection in this non-season undergoes restoration, but no matter how immense it is, this architectural masterpiece remains unaffected. 😊
Italy is my favorite country, for its architecture, for little coffee shops in the mornings, for the smiling passersby, for shopping, for the atmosphere, and oh that sunshine. 😏
Leave me here. I am not healing, I don't want to go to the airport, I don't want to leave, I choose to stay here! 😍 »

« I absolutely love Milan; I feel very comfortable and cozy in this city. 😊 »

« I had been to Italy many times, but this was my first time in Milan! 😄 Of course, the Milan Cathedral is something else!!!! It’s simply cosmic! But I really prefer the other side of Italy 🤖 I went to the provinces, they feel much cozier 🏡🏡🏡 pS pay attention to the cute gathering in the lower left corner of the photo 😹🐱🐱 »

« Free, unconventional individuals that immediately catch your eye 😄.

It's not so bad here in Europe! My favorite "homeless-chic" style 😄, and the open expression of emotions really adds to the overall vibe of the place.

Even with a bit of chaos, I'll definitely be taking some memories back with me when I return to my hometown. It's all just a pleasant smile away 😅. »

« I absolutely love Italy!!!! Everything there is amazing - the atmosphere, the shopping, the food, the wine, and the stylish Italians. 😌

For anyone who hasn't been to Italy yet, I highly recommend visiting this country! You might not fall in love with it at first sight, but its undeniable charm will surely captivate you!!!

Italy, I'm coming for you soon... 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 »

« Every morning and evening in Milan, you can see the streets filled with parents, just like at the beginning of school! It's bustling everywhere! It’s such a comforting thing to witness, knowing that parents can peacefully pick up their little ones after a busy day! 👌🏽 »

« Italy 🇮🇹 Milan. Today I had a relaxing walk and went to the city center again. It turns out I live just 600 meters from the most expensive street in Milan - the fashionable capital of Europe, a paradise for shoppers and tourists, home to luxury cars and high-end brands... Even the old ladies and homeless people are dressed in glam. Everywhere there’s a vibe of winter collection drop. To me, it seems like a historical heritage... Here, the Sforza family once ruled. But their separate history will come later. Some time ago, I read about this family’s biography on Wikipedia. Stay tuned for a post about them. I think it'll be interesting. »

« Milan is a beautiful city filled with stunning architecture, a rich history, and simply amazing vibes. If you’re a fan of high fashion and contemporary art, this place is truly a paradise. 🏛️✨ The Duomo di Milano is absolutely breathtaking, with its intricate details and majestic presence.

And let's not forget about the food! From delicious pizza to heavenly pasta, every bite is a delight. 🍝🍕 Don’t forget to try the famous Panettone if you're there during the holidays – it’s a must!

In short, Milan balances tradition with modern flair, making it an unforgettable destination for any traveler. ❤️ »

« Milan... this is the best place on earth after my beloved Petersburg... I left a piece of my heart there, and I must say, it’s undeniably true that Italy, this wonderful country, enchanting, diverse, warm and intoxicating (in every sense of the word 😂🥰), I love you, Italy!!! Amor, amor, amor ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ »

➕ The viewing platform at the Duomo⛪➕

📅 After visiting the Duomo, don't rush to the next attraction in Milan. Be sure to head up to the legendary rooftop. This is one of the best viewpoints in the city.
They say, on a good weather day, you can even see the Alps from there!⛰️🌌

📅 Unlike many other cathedrals, the entrance to the rooftop of the Duomo is paid. However, going up on foot is significantly cheaper.
For those ready to tackle the 500-step climb, it's worth taking the stairs from the main entrance of the cathedral, turning right to walk along the side wall.
For those who prefer the lift, you'll need to reach the altar area, meaning you’ll have to go through the opposite entrance to the cathedral.

📅 Visiting the rooftop of the Duomo is definitely worth it, especially since you can see a total of 3,400 statues, 135 spires, 96 gargoyles, and 156 statues, enhancing the cathedral experience beyond words.
And once you find yourself on the rooftop – well, put simply – you will fall into a real forest of countless columns, climbing, spires, and statues.

The impressions are unbeatable – you won't find anything like it on any other rooftop in the world! »

« We’re heading to Malpensa Airport. And still, we have this impression of Milan. »
@cebuka
« The city center is incredibly beautiful, but once you venture further and stroll through the ordinary streets, your impression of the city changes drastically: there's trash everywhere, the walls are covered in graffiti, driving culture is non-existent, parking is wherever people please, and there are even underwear hanging on balconies, etc. This city really lacks a sense of culture. »
