« We arrived in Pisa 😊 I could share a lot about Florence, but for now, let's focus on Pisa 😉.
As a city, I expected more. Besides the iconic Leaning Tower, museum, and cathedral, there wasn’t much to see. We had plenty of time, so we managed to stroll along the streets. The river Arno was lovely – a real gem 🌊.
The entrance fees to attractions can be a bit staggering. For example, in Vatican City, to climb the dome of St. Peter's Basilica, you pay around 7 euros, while in Pisa, it’s about 20 euros to ascend the tower 😱😱😱.
To be honest, it’s more pleasant to view the Leaning Tower of Pisa from the outside – nothing particularly special up there 😅. At least, that’s how it seems to me after visiting Rome, Vatican City, and Florence 🙏. »
« The view from the Leaning Tower of Pisa is amazing! 😍 It's just a 1-hour train ride from Florence to Pisa. The ticket costs about $9, and trains run approximately every 30 minutes. It's such a lively little town, with even more tourists than at the Eiffel Tower. I highly recommend a visit! ☀️☀️ »
« Memories... Pisa... Italy... Of course, the main icon of this city is the Leaning Tower of Pisa... But besides that, there's the Cathedral; the Baptistery, which is cylindrical in shape, and the Campo Santo Cemetery, construction of which began in the 13th century... However, after visiting Florence, this field of wonders didn't impress me at all... So, definitely check out the tower first, and then head to Florence... :))) »
« After being so disappointed by Venice, Pisa left such positive impressions! 😊 »
« We stopped on the way to Pisa to take the classic photo. It seems like this is the only city in Italy that I really didn’t like. Besides a tiny square with three sights, there’s nothing else to see. On top of that, it was packed with tourists and there was a bazaar vibe with all the cheap trinkets. Honestly, there’s not much to do here. »
