« So, since on Carnival weekends there can be quite a heavy rain, the organizers decided to hold a celebration the following week and shared this in all the news. You know, it's not unusual that people may not manage to unplug completely and join in: many have been preparing their costumes for months 🦁 and participating in the parades with their teams costs around €300, which includes entry and costume tailoring. »

« I wanted to write about public transport in Malta and almost forgot, but I think it might be useful for someone :) If you're in Malta, renting a car isn’t the best idea, as driving here is quite different, a bit chaotic, and the roads are very narrow! However, the public transport system is very well developed.

You can practically get anywhere by bus, with stops every 500 meters. A ticket costs about €1.50 if you buy it directly from the driver, and it's valid for any bus for a duration of 2 hours. There’s also an option for 12 rides for €15, or the most convenient ticket – €21 for unlimited rides for a week. With that kind of pass, you can always be sure you won’t be going too far anyway, even if you spend all day exploring 😊 »
