Getting Around
Taxi
Taxis in Budva are readily available 24/7 and typically charge around 1.20€ per kilometer, so always confirm the estimated fare before getting in. To save money, consider ridesharing or calling a local taxi service instead of hailing one on the street, as they often come with added costs.
Car
In Budva, parking near the Old Town costs €1.50 per hour with limited availability, so use the large parking lot near Slovenska Plaza, which offers a flat rate of €10 for a full day. To save time, try to park early; spots fill quickly, especially in the summer months when tourists flock to this coastal gem.

« Sadly, for me, Budva appeared much cuter in photos than in real life. I can't calmly look at the "ancient" buildings when I don't see a single truly old stone in their masonry. They've been so extensively restored (read: rebuilt) that it feels like you're in a theme park, and the historical buildings around look like props. My memories of the Old Town are pleasant, probably because of all the photos. More specifically, this impression only applies to the buildings in the main square, while the rest of the Old Town is quite charming ☺. »
« Today we were in Budva. We strolled through the lively streets, lounged on the beach, and tried the local dish - pljeskavica - at one of the restaurants. We also visited the Old Town... It seems like I’m starting to fall in love with this country... 🌊❤️ »

« In old Budva, there are places with a special energy. This is one of them. Relaxation, tranquility, and serenity. Everyone speaks very softly here, almost in whispers. I now have a small dream - to visit this square at dawn! 🌅✨ »
« Tourists, beaches, hotels, promenades, yachts, nightclubs - from the very first moments, you can feel that Budva is the resort capital of the Montenegrin coast. But the flip side of this beach hub is also quite evident: crowds of people, traffic jams, noise, and litter. In general, Budva left an impression of a vibrant, noisy, and diverse city. »
