« I hardly ever showcase The Hague, but there’s definitely something to see here: for example, the latest building in the Amsterdam School architectural style (a specific case of expressionism). The interior is also quite nice: it's one of the most famous Dutch department store chains, De Bijenkorf. »

« Scheveningen, The Hague, Netherlands. Scheveningen is a seaside resort in the Netherlands, located on the North Sea coast, and it is one of the districts of The Hague. It attracts tourists with its long and wide sandy beach. A popular spot for water sports like windsurfing and kitesurfing. Scheveningen is known for its many tourist attractions, and it is a traditional venue for various contests, tournaments, and festivals. »

« Arriving in The Hague, especially after settling here for a long 4 years, it’s impossible not to explore all its main beauties and attractions. For instance, this gothic castle, reminiscent of Hogwarts in some ways, is part of the Binnenhof building complex. It’s called the Ridderzaal (Knight's Hall) and is used for ceremonial sessions and banquets. This beautiful place is located in the inner courtyard of the complex, and you can enter completely free of charge, anytime! »

« Yesterday we spent the first half of the day exploring The Hague. One of the highlights was the Palace of Anna Pavlovna, better known as the Peace Palace. It houses the Permanent Court of Arbitration, the International Court of Justice, the Academy of International Law, and the palace library. The palace and its surrounding gardens are closed to the public, but a few times a month, they offer private tours. We didn’t know about this, so we missed out on the tour, which gives us a reason to return. 🌸✨ »
