Cișmigiu Gardens

  Cișmigiu Gardens, located in the heart of Bucharest near the University of Bucharest, is a historical public park that dates back to 1847. As one of the oldest parks in the city, it showcases beautiful landscapes designed by the architect Carl Friedrich Wilhelm Meyer. The gardens cover an area of approximately 16 hectares and feature winding paths, a picturesque lake, and various species of trees, including over 30 kinds of native and exotic flora. In winter, visitors can enjoy ice skating on the lake, while in summer, it's a popular spot for picnics and leisurely strolls.
