Cabecera Park
Cabecera Park, nestled in the Benicalap district of Valencia, is an expansive green space that spans approximately 90 hectares. Established in 2002, this park is part of the Turia Gardens and was transformed from a former riverbed, illustrating the city’s innovative approach to urban ecology. Its main feature is a picturesque lake that stretches about 600 meters, providing a habitat for various bird species, including ducks and swans. Visitors can explore walking and cycling paths, making it a popular spot for outdoor enthusiasts, particularly during the pleasant months of April through June. In addition to its natural beauty, the park also hosts playgrounds and picnic areas, perfect for family gatherings and leisurely afternoons.
