Parc Natural de l'Albufera
Parc Natural de l'Albufera, situated just south of Valencia, covers an expansive area of around 21,120 hectares and is known as a vital wetland ecosystem. Established as a natural park in 1986, this area is not only a sanctuary for diverse wildlife, including more than 300 species of birds, but also plays a significant role in traditional rice cultivation, home to the famed Paella Valenciana. Visitors can explore the park’s various trails, enjoy boat rides on the Albufera lagoon, and witness breathtaking sunsets, especially during the warmer months of June to September. This unique blend of nature and culture makes Parc Natural de l'Albufera a key destination for those looking to experience the rich biodiversity of the region.
