« In the center of Geneva, you can easily explore remarkable attractions since they are all located close to each other. The Jet d'Eau fountain, the Palace of Nations, the Red Cross Museum, and the botanical garden can be visited in just one day of leisurely walking. There are bus stops everywhere, and a ticket costs about 3 euros, so getting around is very convenient. 😊 »

« I opened another European country for myself - Switzerland. Surely, no one would be surprised by the claim that it's an ideal place to experience a comfortable and well-preserved old world charm. In the future, I will definitely return to Zurich, Bern, and other Swiss towns, but for now, I’ll share my impressions of Geneva.

Pros:
🌊 Lake Geneva! Walking around it, enjoying the crystal clear water, watching the boats sailing by, jogging or biking along the promenade of Mont-Blanc - it’s a must-do!
💦 Jet d’Eau fountain. Shooting water 150 meters high, it's breathtaking to behold. Also, don’t forget to grab a Geneva pass! This fountain has been around since the 19th century (!!!).
🌺 Botanical garden. It’s lovely, very beautiful, and well-maintained, with colorful flowers, cacti, palms, and orchids. An ideal spot for walks and enjoying nature! You can see lush greenery even in the coldest months of the year! 😄
🍽️ Cuisine. Definitely a plus! Fondue, raclette (both cow's milk and meat, served with champagne or cognac), delicious Swiss cheeses and chocolates, incredible wine... this list can go on forever. 😍

Cons:
☹️ St. Pierre Cathedral. Honestly, it's not even worth comparing to the cathedrals in Paris, Venice, and other European cities.
☹️ A range of disappointing landmarks, like the building of the UN (you can't see much, just a wall), the "Sculpture for Woman" (contemporary art), and the floral clock (if you're not into nature photography, you can skip this).
💰 Prices. Yes, prices are HIGH. The average hotel room is about $160 per night. Dinner for two with a bottle of wine starts at $110. A cup of coffee costs around $5. A chocolate sculpture (handmade) starts at about $2. Whether it's clothing or local products, everything is quite pricey.

Overall, my verdict on Geneva: come for a day or two, prepare at least $275 for a minimum budget, stroll around the lake, relax in the old town's cozy corners, enjoy locally made roasted ducks, and be sure to relax in the botanic garden and savor local cuisine. 🥰🍷 »

« The holy grail. The Nidecker factory in Rolle, Switzerland, by Lake Geneva.
Here you also find Jones, Now, Slash, and a warehouse full of various gear.
We got a sneak peek at the preview boards for the next season. The graphics are incredibly cool, but they seem a bit heavy. Maybe it's just because they are test samples.
The selection of sizes isn’t too vast, but the prices are simply outrageous.
The atmosphere in the office is vibrant. There’s stuff scattered everywhere, and employees are zooming down the corridors on skateboards. Everyone is friendly and easy to approach. You can tell these people are passionate about what they do. »

« Geneva is the perfect city! Just wish the prices were a bit lower $$$ »
@golovach_anton39
« The people there are incredibly wealthy; I've never seen so many luxury cars and high-end products in stores all in one place. For instance, the Rolex watches in the fourth photo have price tags ranging from $11,000 to $44,000! 💰✨ »
@forceconstante
« We visited the Bovet boutique in Geneva and checked out the watches on display. These vintage timepieces featuring a mandarin duck were purchased at auction for about a quarter of a million dollars. »
@anna_grachevskaya
« View from the window. Switzerland. Geneva. Taxi €75. Well, what can I say... it's Switzerland... Geneva! We flew in for the watches⌚️ because, honestly, you can’t be without Swiss watches these days😂 »
@tashlykoff
« Geneva is not at all what it seemed. People are reserved and focused on their work. Speaking loudly is considered rude, and they have a fondness for Japanese cars. It's hard to tell where the fun is; it feels like tourists aren't really welcome here, especially with the prices. 😅 »
@kovateva
« The public beach in the center of Geneva has an entrance fee of 7 euros. There's grass, a pool, cafés, slides, and a six-story parking lot. It’s probably as deep as the lake itself 😃. On weekends, there's likely no room to move! »
@teoria_lobanova
« If you live in Geneva or Lausanne and can't find a parking spot for your second Porsche, then CarDok is exactly what you need. This neat little lift hides your car underground in just 30 seconds, allowing you to park another car on top or even plant some grass. And it costs just $61k. 🌿🚗 »
@rita_malkovich
« Regarding the topic of carpooling, we reached Geneva for 17 dollars for two people)) and it's really not scary at all, nobody will harm you on the way or take you off somewhere. »
@prozorrov
« The prices are sky-high, so for farewell, we drink cucumber brine. »
@switch_twitch
« A single trip on public transport costs about 3.5 francs. At the airport, you can get a free ticket for 80 minutes before going through customs, which allows you to reach the city. Hotels provide guests with cards for free travel on any type of public transport for the entire duration of their stay. Everything is done for the convenience of people! »
