Mashtots Park

  Mashtots Park sits at the intersection of Mashtots Avenue and Khanjyan Street in Yerevan, serving as a popular leisure spot for locals and visitors alike. Established in the late 1930s, the park was named after the renowned Armenian linguist and educator, Mesrop Mashtots, who created the Armenian alphabet. This urban oasis spans approximately 3.5 hectares and features a variety of walking paths, benches, and green spaces, making it an ideal location for relaxation or a casual stroll. In April, the park bustles with color as tulips bloom vibrantly, offering a picturesque scene for those passing through. Visitors can also admire the iconic statue of Mashtots at the heart of the park, which serves as a focal point and a great backdrop for photos.
