« In Turkey, everything is quite expensive compared to other places. Prices are often 2-3 times higher. That's why it's recommended to shop during sales. Almost every store has these leaflets. I stocked up over the weekend. Shoes, clothes, textiles, and fresh greens like mandarins are much cheaper here! 🌿🍊 »

« Strolling around Antalya, Kemer, and Beldibi in Turkey. Antalya is about the size of a mid-sized city, but it has its own charm with low-rise buildings (up to 10 stories due to being in a seismic zone) and solar water heaters on every roof. The climate is quite humid, clothes hardly dry out, but breathing feels incredibly easy here; everything is clean, and the sun is hot yet gentle. It's a fantastic place to relax.

The key is to avoid spending money on your first day, or you might get ripped off! After two days of getting used to the place, you realize that prices here are at least half, if not a third, cheaper than what you might find elsewhere. For clothing and excursions, and all-inclusive accommodation and meals are priced about half compared to some other popular spots. 😊 »

« "We enjoyed the beauty of the Old Town. The trip for two cost us just $6, including 2 ice creams." »

« Documents... There are queues here too, people are shouting and arguing :) It feels like I'm in the passport office in the early 90s.

We’re processing documents for the apartment! Oh yeah, I rented a two-bedroom apartment in the center of Antalya! It's just a minute's walk to the university! 320 dollars a month! This is Antalya, baby! »

« We returned the car. Rental - 12 days at 16 euros per day, including a child seat. We’re getting on the bus. We’re heading back to the mountains to spend some time at the hot springs. The sea has gotten boring. »

« I remembered the time we went to an amusement park and stumbled upon an oracle like this one. Just for $0.50, it predicts something for you based on your palm and even creates a bar chart of your luck, intelligence, love, and wealth in points. Unfortunately, the thought of needing a translator for the prediction came to me later. The translator was of no help at all. The only bright side is that I turned out to be incredibly lucky! 😊✨ »

« Public transport in Antalya. Passengers tap a special card to this device, and the fare is automatically deducted from the card. For locals, the ticket costs 1 lira (approximately $0.05), while visitors pay 2 lira. »

« "Still reminiscing from yesterday's aquarium visit. At the entrance, everyone is photographed against a green screen. And on your way out, they offer six different photoshopped pictures - you in a water tunnel with a shark flying at you and stuff like that. This fun costs $30 plus a fridge magnet. And of course, there is a sea-themed knick-knack supermarket waiting for you on your way out." »

« The waterfalls of Antalya, and it's only 3 lira instead of $70 from the "kind-hearted" guide. »
