« It feels like you're on another planet. 😅 On one side, we're used to one thing, while they have a completely different vibe. If you need to find anything here – like a photo for your passport – you might have to search high and low. 😒

What surprises me the most is the beauty industry... it just doesn't exist here, to be honest. Do you know how much it costs to get a manicure at a salon??? Guess what? It's about $100 on average (for a basic service). And that's not the only thing; they don’t do it well either. I won’t even mention nails – I prefer to stay quiet on that subject. 😂😢

The medical services are the biggest disappointment here. Everyone talks about it, but I haven’t experienced it myself yet, so I’ll hold off on commenting for now. 😩 »

« One fine day, we stumbled upon an open door of a hostel located in an old prison! We even specifically checked it out on booking.com — it has such a peculiar room with a full-size bed, priced at $40 per night. However, on this floor, as I understood, they don’t rent out the room. They’ve managed to preserve the atmosphere here magnificently, even the old bars are still in place. 😊 »

« Today in the neighboring area, we stumbled upon a yard sale. Well, in this case, it seems more like a "driveway" sale :) Of course, we went to satisfy our curiosity and spent two dollars on some treasures. I ended up with a book by the only familiar author among the offerings, picked up a copy of "Sergio the Mammoth" to dig into later, and my friend got a book just as a gift for their curly hair and shyness :) There were mostly toys, DVDs, and books — probably the most popular items at such events. »
