« The phone itself picks up this location. I'm not particularly a fan of "government cities" like Brussels, Brasilia, and others, but Washington leaves a pleasant impression - dignified and noble, yet not pompous. You probably won't encounter this many people in suits on the streets of any other American city. »

« The trip to Washington was a success; it was short but enjoyable. Washington turned out to be a very kind city, somewhat provincial despite its status, but very pleasant and quiet compared to New York. The wide streets and sidewalks, bike lanes, parks, and mostly low-rise buildings — the city's structures are not supposed to be taller than the Capitol. The National Gallery of Art is worth a visit alongside Europe’s iconic museums. The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum didn't evoke a whirlwind of emotions for me, but it's certainly a matter of taste. According to some sources, it is the most-visited museum in the world!!! (I would dispute that), but Americans do have a tendency to claim everything is the biggest and most visited; after all, they were the first on the Moon. »
