Zoo
Zoo Kaliningrad is situated along the banks of the beautiful Fish Village, just a short walk from the city center. Established in 1896, it stands as one of the oldest zoos in Russia, showcasing a rich history since the late 19th century. With a focus on conservation and education, its purpose is to house over 200 species of animals, including the unique Przewalski's horse and Siberian tigers. Open year-round, the zoo provides visitors with the chance to enjoy special seasonal events, especially during the summer months when families flock to explore. Guests can wander through well-maintained pathways and observe various species in thoughtfully designed habitats scattered throughout this 16-hectare site.
