And the temperature in the air wasn't too chilly either. Overall, it became clear that peculiar to Beijing was its beauty.

These festive decorations for the New Year adorned the streets, with people strolling around in droves, reminiscent of the lively market spaces. The rickshaws were there, as were the absence of tourists... I hope they’ll somehow manage to keep this charm alive through the summer so that everyone can fully enjoy this magical season. ✨ »

« Strolling through Beijing while exploring new territories is such an interesting pastime! Yesterday, we walked to Sanlitun. We found some stunning spots – it’s hard to describe them in words! In a couple of days, we’ll head back there for some great photos 🙂 Vlad loved Sanlitun, even though we didn’t cover all of it. Wandering around Beijing, I keep realizing we made the right choice! And despite a little pollution on some days, overall it’s an incredibly clean city! It's not even comparable to the Beijing from four years ago. »

« Beijing... vast and powerful, as I see it, almost overwhelmingly spacious. Here, you can easily feel like a tiny figure compared to such immense scales. Yet, where I used to stroll, I had quite an impression on me. The Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and the preserved hutongs… everything that could be seen left a mark during those few days I spent there. Ah, and without visiting the so-called “evil places” wouldn’t be complete. In this city, Beijing can even rival Shanghai on a different level! Well, I'm looking forward to the new adventures, the new harbor, and a bit more - that’s my main goal! 😊 »

« A few days ago, I returned from my trip to Beijing. It left me with some pretty interesting impressions. « Amazing Great Wall of China! ❄️ It was incredibly cold, windy, and slippery! Navigating the Wall with a little one during winter among the crowded tourists is quite the challenge! But we managed to do it! It would have been so easy to just cave in and not go there so close to such a magnificent wonder and miss out... Impressive, yes; breathtaking, yes; beautiful, absolutely, yes, yes, yes!!! 😍

Now I’m absolutely convinced that people can go through the impossible, it just requires a lot of patience (sometimes more than 1500 years). And considering how many tourists are tucked away on these walls! I found a precise number online (from $10,000 to $1,000,000). It's terrifying to think about... I believe in the summer it’s just magical here... A place where I definitely want to return during the warmer months of the year! 🌞 »

« An incredible place in Beijing - the World Park 🌍 Strolling through this park is a captivating experience for both kids and adults 🥰. I visited for the first time during the summer, surrounded by greenery, flowers, and beautiful scenery 🌞. « Notes from Beijing. So, the city is definitely worth visiting. We had only 9 hours, but we managed to catch some huge secret parade with thousands of people on the streets (secret because we still couldn’t find any info about what it was), wander around the city (24,000 steps - done), and see a panda munching on bamboo (a childhood dream). If you’re in Beijing, definitely check out the zoo! Overall, the city is a mix of something communist and authentically Chinese. It exceeded all our expectations (the city, the people, the service - although, I must say, there’s a bit of a language barrier with English...). We even regretted that we allocated so little time for this city. As for healthy food, that’s not so easy here. Chinese cuisine has a lot of fat, starch, fried dishes, and other “delights,” but overall, you can definitely find something to eat. We stick to rice as a base and then add vegetables, meat, etc. Now we're thinking it might be worth coming back.. After all, we need to at least see the residence of the last emperor, which we missed due to the parade... »
