« Recently, I went to the dentist. I had a piece of my lower front tooth removed because it definitely wasn’t in the best shape. 😅 It’s not like I was ecstatic about it, but hey...

This summer in Baku, I got myself an implant (at least just a dental one!). 😄 So, I asked my friend some questions: "How much does dental treatment cost in Baku?" "How do they place them!?" "What if it doesn’t work out?" etc. You know, to get the details.

In Japan, to get an implant or ceramic crown, you might need to shell out quite a bit. 😩 The cost for a dental implant unit is about $4,000 to $5,000, and brackets start at $5000+. Plus, they usually have you coming back for monthly check-ups. All of this doesn’t include insurance, so let’s just say it can be a hefty bill! 😱

So now I totally get why the dental industry in Japan feels like it’s straight out of a movie and is so particular! 😅💁‍♀️ »
