« This is us at the Phousi hill in Luang Prabang, enjoying a fantastic getaway. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

From the summit, you can admire the stunning views of the Mekong River and its surrounding countryside. Many come here to capture the beautiful sunsets. The climb to the top is steep, featuring a stone staircase with 329 steps. At the top, there’s a temple, and nearby, a vintage Soviet-style structure that has been repurposed into a carousel. Phousi is also known for hosting a replica of the three-meter-tall Buddha footprint.

Access to the hill costs 20,000 kip, which is about $1.80. You can also buy a ticket for a section with the footprint for 30,000 kip, around $2.70 for two respective features. »

« Beautiful coconut bowls as souvenirs? You can definitely find such treasures at the night market in Luang Prabang, Laos. Bargaining at these markets is almost a must! I asked how much one of the decorations costs, and they initially told me 80, but I ended up getting it for 30. And I think that’s probably not the lowest price you can get. So don't hesitate, just go for it! 🤗✨ »
