« Good morning 🌞 Just make sure to choose where you want to spend your mornings 😌 By the way, living with such a view costs about $4 a day 😉 »

« Nepal has turned me into a fan of hats. And not any hats, but warm and vibrant ones. For two winters, I was tirelessly trying to find a hat that I wanted, but all I found were dull ones. Here, however, the bright and soft hats sell for around $2-3.

Also, some of my recent purchases:
🔹 Thermals for trekking - $2
🔹 Trekking shoes in my style - $67, but I could have gotten something simpler for $30-40
🔹 Simple sweatshirts with patterns - $10, while my warm ones with a lining cost $25 (just for this winter)
🔹 Fleece - $7
🔹 Rucksack - $10
🔹 T-shirts with prints or embroidery - from $3 to $7
🔹 Jackets - $7-25

In many places, this all costs 2-4 times more, but the quality remains the same. It's great that I didn’t waste time on overpriced clothing. »

« We chose an inexpensive hotel just 50 meters from the lake. The rate for a double room is around $10 per night. The rooms are a bit worn and could use some renovations, which is why the price is so low. »

« After the flight, a friendly assistant took our photo. Throughout the journey, a camera on the wing captured everything. You can purchase this recording for an additional 2500 rupees, which is about $30 for footage from a single flight. They’ll give you a disc with around 400 photos and about 10 video clips of your experience. The quality isn’t any better than what’s on my iPad. Personally, we decided not to buy these discs. »

« After the flight, a girl assistant photographed us. Throughout the entire flight, she was taking pictures on her phone. There were both photos and videos. You can buy this recording for an additional $25. They will save around 400 photos and about 10 video clips of your flight on a disk. The quality is not better than on my iPad. Personally, we didn't buy these disks. »

« Renting a bike in Pokhara is the most expensive among all the countries we've visited in Asia. The initial price was 1000 rupees per day. We managed to negotiate it down to 800 rupees, which is about $6. »

« Today we moved to a new hotel for $5. The rooms are larger and the electricity situation is more stable. There’s Wi-Fi, hot water, towels, one double bed and another single bed, a TV, a fan, and a small garden where you can enjoy breakfast. 😊 »
