« Vulkan Khallasan. The route "Sonthpank" — 9.6 km. Today we got up at 6 in the morning to conquer this summit. 1950 m. In total, it took us 4.5 hours at a brisk pace. After such a morning challenge, everything seems like a simple pastime 😄. Kira was the first woman to reach the summit in sneakers and no poles (just with a lightweight backpack) 🤣🤣🤣✌️. Honestly, the descent is definitely harder than the climb, as you’re going down larger and slippery rocks. It's worth letting the others pass by - overall, the path is equipped with wooden stairs and steps. Everything is very civilized. 🏔️ These stairs are everywhere! Immediately makes me want to see such a setup in Pidan. Clean, maintained, comfortable! »
« Despite this being my third visit to Korea, I can’t help but be amazed by how friendly the locals are, even in the busiest tourist spots. Instead of a standard double room in a hotel, we got upgraded to a lovely two-bedroom apartment. The delicious food at the cafe where we went to enjoy seafood was something else!
The staff not only greeted us warmly but also, when we were leaving, they handed us two bananas with big smiles. This wasn’t in some remote village, but rather in the bustling area of Incheon, one of the most prominent places to visit in Korea.
What’s also amusing is that since I first visited back in 2014, prices have barely changed at all. I specifically went to one cafe where we had seafood to see if the costs had shifted since then, and they were exactly the same. Korea hasn’t lost its charm for me, staying true to its vibrant nature and the delightful home-style meals served by cheerful and caring people. »
« We returned from Jeju a week ago, and the euphoria still lingers. We heard so many stories and looked through countless photos, but seeing it with our own eyes made it clear why people visit the island ten times. They say every season brings a different look to the island. Now I need to come back in summer to swim, in autumn and winter as well. There's something about the energy here; people come to relax, leaving their negativity behind, and you can really feel it. The atmosphere is light and carefree. It definitely draws you back! 🌊✨ »
« Two different hotels in different parts of Jeju Island. This island impresses me. It's developed, there's a lot to see. It's quite expensive! »
« Last night, we visited Majestar Casino at Shilla Hotel. The hotel is beautiful and one of the best on the island. We even managed to play some roulette, which turned out to be really interesting! The atmosphere is lively, but the main thing is to stay in the moment.
The casino follows all the rules typical for such establishments: there are no specific hours, and photography is not allowed (this photo was taken in a special VIP area where we were permitted to take pictures). If you're feeling lucky and are up for a risk, you definitely should check out this casino. Even if you’re not a gambler, it’s still worth stopping by! Whenever you're in CheJu, make sure to enjoy your time here with some thrilling games.
By the way, beginners here aren’t allowed to place higher bets right away. »
« And also, in Cheju, you can find the biggest aquarium in South Korea. There are many sharks, sea otters, seals, dolphins, and other marine life. It's an interesting place to visit, especially for kids, as they will find it fascinating. At certain times, there’s an Aqua Show happening, which is also fun to watch. »
« Today we climbed to Peak Sunrise. On December 31st, Koreans come here to witness the first sunrise of the new year. The beauty is absolutely breathtaking, and it's worth the effort to go up, even if you're a bit tired. The ascent and descent take about 50 minutes. »
