Da Nang Prices

« Bana Hills - the most expensive tour available in Da Nang, primarily due to the exorbitant price of the longest cable car in Asia: 600,000 VND (about $25). As they say, if you desire French luxury - you must pay the French price.

There are a few ways to get to the hills: taxis, motorbikes, or as part of an organized tour. You can also hire a driver with a car for the whole day, which costs around 600,000 VND ($25), while taxis there and back will total around 900,000 VND ($38).

I chose a different route and ended up in a tour group because the price there is very enticing, especially considering that most of the guides barely speak English: 90,000 VND ($3.75).

When acquaintances asked me about the tour price, we had a hilarious dialogue:
- How much does the tour cost?
- Nine-zero-thousand.
- Ninety thousand?
- Nine-zero.
- Nine hundred thousand?
- Just nine zero.

Well, you get it, right? Yes, that’s surprisingly cheap!
Additionally, I had lunch in a restaurant with a buffet that cost me 170,000 VND ($7). In total, the full day tour with transportation, a guide, entrance tickets, and a delightful lunch cost 870,000 VND ($37), plus I paid an extra 70,000 VND ($3) for a funicular ride to the lower levels, making Bana Hills absolutely worth the money spent. »

« Ba Na Hills, Danang. If you somehow find yourself in Danang, you definitely have to visit this place. You can fill your entire day with interesting and diverse activities: check out the old pagoda, the palace of the French colonists, a French-style flower garden with a plant maze, the wine grotto, and take a ride on the cable car (make sure to do this a few times). You can also enjoy a free attraction in the Fantasy Park and catch a complimentary 5D cinema experience while playing some arcade games! If it weren’t for the rain, we would have had time to visit the local water park as well. Despite the stereotypes about Asia, everything here is top-notch and very European, making it a fantastic place to relax. And the prices are quite Vietnamese! P.S. There's even a Caucasian restaurant here for some reason, lol. »
