« Preparing the bikes for a big trip. They're changing the oil for $5, including oil and labor. »

« We are in Hanoi. It's really cool here. Kind Vietnamese people brought us for free on a bus from the border with China to the center of Hanoi. By Christmas, all the hostels were fully booked. We found a single room for $10. »

« This is how they serve coffee. My friend bought a similar filter for 16,000 dong (~0.67 USD), and now we carry it everywhere with us. 😜 »

« Florists never become "former"! The love for flowers and the shades of nature is in our souls :) Late-night flower market in Hanoi (Vietnam) at midnight :))) They had to hold me back with four people to stop me from buying everything I could carry :)))) It was hard to resist, because the prices there are simply magical, you wouldn't find anything like it anywhere else! :) »

« You think this is water? I thought so too, and almost bought it. The price was a bit "non-water" though… It's VODKA! Who would have thought? And in Hanoi, they sell it in a 5-liter container!! How can we be considered the most drinking nation after that? Vietnam, here you go! 🍸😄 »

« The city bids us farewell with fog, and overall, my impression of Hanoi is not the best. Maybe I was in the wrong places, or perhaps I expected more. By the way, our taxi driver tricked us here too; we agreed on one price, but upon arrival, I ended up paying an extra $8. »

« Vietnamese dong: 1 dollar = 21,000 dong. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any coins for my collector friends.(( »

« The view from the 9th floor of our hotel is just amazing! Breakfast is included in the price (by the way, the hotel is considered pricey, around $110 for a 4-person room per night). »

« We arrived in Hanoi after KL, and the difference is unbelievable. There are no skyscrapers, the traffic is strange, and everything feels quite confusing at first. But on the bright side, we instantly became millionaires—100 dollars equals about 2,310,000 dong! 😄 »
@vgabrov
« Bicycle - $10. Tire and inner tube - $5. »
@alinadang
« $0.54 for such a lovely little bouquet! If prices were like this elsewhere, I would totally love flowers so much more. 🌸 »
@alinadang
« The biggest night flower market in Hanoi. $2 for a bouquet of 70 small roses! You can even bargain a bit! 😊🌹 »
@alinadang
« A dessert made of fruits, coconut milk, and sweetened condensed milk. This is really tasty! And for just $1! ✅ Fun fact of the day, Vietnam: bribery is everywhere and with everyone. Vietnam is far more corrupt than you might think. The sums are quite surprising. For example, you can pay $5 for riding a motorcycle without a license and just carry on; for driving a car without a license, it's $25, and for driving under the influence, it’s $50 (which, by the way, is sad). People don't drink all that much here, mostly it’s just beer, but after having some beer, they hop behind the wheel with a clear conscience. »

« In Hanoi, there are countless art galleries. Local artists create amazing works on canvas. You can bring any photo and it will turn into a painting in 3 to 7 days. The whole experience costs no more than $200 for a huge wall-sized artwork. »
@quantumdark
« In Vietnam, it’s easy to feel like a millionaire. You exchange a hundred bucks and get over two million dong in return. But this wonder costs a hundred thousand dong a day. Still, you ride in style on a tough Honda))) The parking attendants write some magical numbers in indelible chalk right on the bike, wherever they please. If it were mine, I’d have flipped out over that))) »
