« I have so many fantasy postcards that I sent along the way of lesser-known spots—you can’t really choose what to showcase, right? 😂 So, the lyrical digression has ended, let’s get to the point. If you’re vacationing in Černogoria and you happen to have an open schedule, you’re totally obliged to make it to Croatia ❤️

All sources recommend checking out “in Croatia after Černogoria - it’s very expensive,” and while they don't specify exactly how pricey, here’s a general idea of current costs: a bus ticket from Herceg Novi to Dubrovnik costs about €40 for a round trip, and tickets for the Fortress of Dubrovnik (the spot where the most epic photos are taken) are also around €40 for two. 😅

Depending on your preferences, there are some things that don't offer any cultural value... no worries, the view from the fortress is just out of this world... and it might cost about €20... 🤔 If you don't find enough to be impressed by, you can sip on a non-alcoholic drink for €7 and use the restroom for €1. And yes, all of this is in local currency, which frankly does puzzle the mind...

In Černogoria (not Eurozone) the currency is euro, while in Croatia (Eurozone) it’s Croatian kuna. 😅 »

« Dubrovnik. The Old Town. Walking around the fortress wall costs €20 per person, but the views you get from there are spectacular and worth every cent. The emerald waters below and the red-tiled roofs create a backdrop that feels like stepping into a postcard. The experience is something to cherish, and it’s an unforgettable way to take in the history and beauty of this amazing city. 🌊🏰✨ »

« Dubrovnik is incredibly beautiful and quite expensive. For example, parking in the center near the Old Town costs between $4 to $7.50 per hour! At first, we didn't quite believe it, thinking it might be a little extra. And almost all the spots were taken. The flow of tourists has increased significantly over the last couple of years. And why is that? Well, because they filmed "Game of Thrones" here. 👋🏼 »

« When your view from the window doesn’t need any comments💖
We stayed in such a classic Croatian apartment. We got a room with this amazing view😎
To the old town (in the photo, it's on the left), it's no more than a 5-minute walk. Just take the steps, so it’s stroller-friendly.
The price per two nights was around $120, but there was an extra $20 for kids👶
The room is simple, surrounded by the charming Croatian ambiance😄
This was our first experience of this kind. And there’s definitely something special about it.
At the very least, it feels otherworldly.

Have a good morning, world. Love you💖

« Dubrovnik is a town of evergreen trees, fantastic landscapes, and tons of tourists 😅 who flock here mainly because of "Game of Thrones." While locals unanimously claim that they can't stand the show, they are certainly cashing in on its fame. 😜 Here, you can find daily hour-long walking tours around the iconic locations (around $27 per person), sea excursions on a boat 🐍, all kinds of souvenir shops brimming with "Game of Thrones" merchandise (t-shirts, posters, mugs, snacks, flags, Monopoly-style games, and so much more), and even some cafes where you can order a "Shame salad" and a "Shame cocktail." 🍸😄 »

« - Staying at a hostel in the Old Town can set you back around $40. However, it’s worth it. The best hostel is Fresh * sheets, hidden away in the depths of the streets. The unique feature of this hostel is that you can negotiate the room price. If you're low on funds, the staff might offer you a discount. The cheapest rooms are mixed, so men and women share the space. Breakfast is included in the price of the stay. »

« Dubrovnik. The Old Town. Besides the incredible historic center, there's the most expensive marina in Croatia - about 54 dollars per night. »
@ksvecher
« The view from the fortress walls is simply unbeatable. The entrance fee is 15 USD. I used to think that prices for attractions were inflated back home. »
@natalyaklukva
« Croatia is the perfect destination for fans of the series "Game of Thrones"! For around 64 dollars, you can enjoy a guided tour of the filming locations. You can also find a ton of souvenirs related to the show, and even snap a photo on the Iron Throne! :-D »
@gradisboy
« One of the main attractions in Dubrovnik is its medieval stone city walls. On the land side, they are 4-6 meters thick, while on the sea side, they measure 2-3 meters. To truly appreciate the city from above, you need to climb onto the walls and walk the entire length. The walls stretch approximately 1.5-2 kilometers, and the entrance fee is 100 Croatian kuna, which is about 15 euros. Walking along the wall is permitted in one direction only. »

« If you find yourself in Dubrovnik, make sure to take the opportunity to stroll along the city walls – the views are absolutely stunning! It's not the cheapest activity (an adult ticket costs about 15 USD, while a children's ticket is less), but it's worth it. The walk takes at least an hour. I was snapping photos every second, so we ended up wandering around for over an hour and a half until a downpour sent us scrambling back down. It's best to visit the walls in the evening to avoid melting under the midday sun. ☀️🌧️ »
