« I’m getting used to local quirks - for instance, that utility bills are significantly higher than what I was used to. 📈 For water, they charge roughly three times more in three months. 💧 And the internet? Well, that's about 50 euros, which translates to roughly $55, while in some places it can be just around $5 for an equivalent service. 💸

No matter where you are, it's all about balancing your pluses and minuses. 👌 Here, the most important thing is that the ecology is a thousand times better. 🌳 However, I do miss the availability of some grocery items - there are a few brands that are hard to find. 🥴 What do you value in your country when it comes to material things? 😉 »

« Traveling with kids? Planning a trip to Cyprus? Check out the "Donkey Rides" excursion! 🐴

This is a unique experience for both adults and children, giving little ones the chance to ride on these gentle creatures. 😄

In the evening, you can enjoy a lovely national dinner, featuring entertaining programs and dances. 💃

Prices range from $45 to $70 for adults, and kids usually get a discount. 👶

You can treat the donkeys to sweet apples, available for purchase on-site for just $1-2. 🍏

At the farm, there’s also an apple orchard where you can pick fresh apples right from the trees! 🍎

Getting to the farm from Paphos is only a short drive away. ⬆️

In the evening, they offer a tasting of olive oil, wine, cheese, and sausages that you can buy there as well. Everything is local, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The tasting is complimentary.

Would we go again? Absolutely! The kids had a blast, and so did the adults! 👍

« We were walking back from the store when we spotted a large sign: museum, part of the UNESCO heritage. Tickets were just €2.50. We went in: a lot of stones, remnants of a temple scattered about - this is where respected people were buried. Beautiful and interesting for sure, but $5... »

« Salty lakes in Larnaca. Soon flocks of pink flamingos will arrive here. The resort itself is great for a budget family vacation. Prices are relatively low, the sea is shallow, and the infrastructure is very developed. 🌊😊 »

« For some reason, the strange Cypriots built two almost parallel highways connecting the main cities on the island. Both are in good condition. One of them runs along the sea, and it’s just amazing to drive and enjoy the view.

By the way, yesterday we discovered a fantastic area with stunning houses. The approximate price for a house with a plot is 750-1,050 euros per month. »

« How to save €9 on entry to the Paphos Archaeological Museum? In my opinion, it's simple. Just hop over the fence! 😊 »

« The famous chain of Danish variety stores "TIGER-STORES": there are 2 in Cyprus, and while I can’t say exactly how many worldwide, they’ve definitely reached around 25 European countries. They never made it to my place. We have something similar, but it’s just not the same... The experience inside here differs significantly. Every location is filled with cool designs, well-arranged products, quality items, and of course... the music. In this store, you feel like not only buying but also strutting to the checkout like Michael Jackson. It’s a delightful little shop and always crowded with people. It seems to be the same in every country I’ve visited. As for prices, they range roughly from 1 to 7-10 euros. My purchase today was 8 euros: a 3m charger for Samsung, a compact transformer stand for any gadget, and a notebook with an elastic band in red leather and "papyrus-style" paper. If you spot such stores, don’t just walk by! At the very least, it’s an interesting place to visit, like a museum of creative household accessories. 😊🛍️ »

« What could be better than night drives in a convertible around Cyprus? The Ferrari was a bit too much for us this time, but we’ll definitely take it for a spin next time! Our vacation is coming to an end, the money has been spent, and that little red car wasn’t exactly cheap at $2,100 per day. All that’s left is to enjoy the moment! This has been the best vacation, one we will never forget! Woohoo! »

« The 15th century. A grumpy old man, who was supposed to be the guard, wouldn’t let our group in for free and demanded 2 euros per person. There were about 50 of us, and this is an ordinary active Orthodox church, so there shouldn’t be any charge for entrance. In Cyprus, 2 euros is the price of 1 liter of milk. »

« 7.5 euros for a seat and 3 euros for two Fanta drinks. »

« The world is changing... A three-bedroom apartment, swimming pool, all furniture - 505 dollars per month. »
