« In Prague, there are many traps for tourists. 🚫
These little machines are one of them: the price is truly ridiculously high! 😱 You can often find many of these traps in touristy areas, especially in the city center.
You should also be cautious of the old-fashioned stalls at the main square: they indicate the price for 100 grams, but you’ll likely end up paying much more, especially if you take even the smallest portion, and you might pay as much as for a meal in a restaurant! 🍽️
Have you encountered any similar tourist traps? »
« Arriving in Prague, I found out that euros need to be exchanged for korunas (not just at the airport and national exchange offices; it's better to exchange them at the local spots where they offer a better rate). Not every restaurant accepts euros, and some don't even take cards (without any currency conversion - like MasterCard).
If you happen to be short on korunas, it's a good idea to check right away with the restaurant whether they accept euros or cards. If your English is a bit rusty, you can confirm if they have a menu in another language, because without it, you might only get surprised by ordering. 😄 For me, yesterday, a surprise was a salad with homemade cheese wrapped in peppered bacon (smoked). The taste was unique; you should definitely give it a try, it’s not something you get every day! »
« Prague 🇨🇿
Sometimes it’s useful to check flights to Bratislava 😂. The federal capital of Prague. »
« Entering the Karlov Bridge. It turned out that my photo "almost without tourists" was quite a lucky shot. 👍🏼 Just imagine having lunch here; this place feels like a blend of Chinese and Italian tourists all together. 🤷♀️ »
« Sources of drinking mineral water are often directly in the hotel! This is super convenient for elderly people, for those who have trouble walking, and for me (that is, for lazy people) 🤣

« Christmas in Prague
After they opened direct flights to Prague from Ufa twice a week, you can easily escape for the weekend, really disconnecting from work.
Now about the trip.
We flew first. Prague is such a beautiful city, we really loved it. Especially during Christmas. We happened to be there just as the Christmas tree was being set up in the main square. A ton of tourists flock to Wenceslas Square to enjoy Czech delicacies. In the air, the atmosphere of the upcoming holiday is everywhere. Everyone is buying gifts. Such a magical time.
In the second photo, a store of the famous Czech footwear brand Bata. This brand was established back in the late 19th century. During the Soviet era, the company was nationalized and they supplied shoes under the Cheb brand to the USSR. The shoes were of very good quality and passed down as heirlooms)))) So we stocked up there normally 😄

« Another warm memory from Prague ☀️🏰
Unforgettable, colorful landscapes that seem straight out of a fairy tale! ✨ Strolling through them, it’s impossible not to smile! 😄
I definitely plan to return there! 💖 »
« Magnificent buildings are not entirely captured in the frame, just like in the sky the facts about this stunning mountain range don’t fit either 😍 ~
You know what’s surprising? Despite the large number of tourists in the mountains, it feels so serene and peaceful... No hustle and bustle, constant photo ops, or the usual swarm of sellers/buyers/guides found at other major tourist spots.
There’s a ton of delicious beer! Tasty! I must share some stories with you, my friends and fellow travelers 😊 »
« Prague, my dear Prague! The architecture is stunning and the food is delicious, what more does a traveler need? 😄 »
« Bright showcases of the collection of Saint Vita. What stands out in all this is the colorful glass in the exquisite sumac setting. »
« Dreams come true! I've had a little bit of a craving to visit this charming town, and on my third attempt, I finally made it, and it hit me right in the heart💖 Such a beautiful place! On the very first day, I walked over 10 km through the fairytale streets of Prague🥰 »
« These kids really love to snack and chill 😊 The views are stunning, and there are definitely a lot of tourists around. Everyone is taking pictures and enjoying the scenery. Grab a bite near the Charles Bridge or up by Vysehrad! ✌️ »
« Prague at night is just magical ❤️. Strolling through the beautiful streets, stopping by a cozy restaurant just to enjoy life and soak in the good vibes is pure bliss 🙌❤️❤️. Waking up to the sunrise and finding a stunning spot to appreciate the view is something you shouldn’t miss... Each time, you can choose a new restaurant or café to surprise yourself with all the wonderful options 😄😄😄. »
« I love ceilings, I always look up 😇 »
« On February 4th, I happened to be in Prague... ❤️ The impressions were breathtaking at every step. No transport is needed at all. I walked 13 kilometers in a day. I left the hotel around 11 and returned around 7. All this time, I was on foot. The views of Prague will be in every photo. But! On the downside - the unreal number of tourists. And this is in February! What’s happening there in the warm season? 😱 »
« There was something interesting there 😂
Although, honestly, everywhere you go here is fascinating. Prague is an incredibly beautiful city. In front, there’s a whole week of enjoying the winter beauty of the Czech Republic, so get ready for a massive collection of photos 😄 »
« What I didn't expect to see in Prague was how much it radiates charm and historicity. Instantly, I felt the urge to reread A. Tolstoy's novel "The Family of Vurdalak," which I actually did at the airport while waiting for my delayed flight.
In general, strolling through the city, you undeniably sense an atmosphere reminiscent of horror films, and images of the bubonic plague come to mind, as though you've stepped back into Europe in the mid-14th century. But this doesn't repel me; on the contrary, it captivates me with its enigmatic ambiance and centuries-old history. 🕰️✨ »
« My magical week in the charming city of Prague with family is one of the most mysterious places in the world 🌍. Prague is a symphony of narrow streets, aromatic trdelník, warm wine, and delightful evening atmosphere after long leisurely walks.
🎶 My Prague is the organ. A rigid yet striking instrument, unfamiliar yet oddly captivating. Its music enchants the soul. ❤️ My Prague is the smile of a beloved partner and the genuine laughter that effortlessly sparks a series of fascinating and intriguing questions about this city and life in general.
And what's more, my Prague is mystical. In the tales of the locals, in endless ancient legends, and even in my own phone, which strangely holds a practically endless supply of photos from this enigmatic city.
I love it for the emotions it preserved! 📷 »
« Old Town Square in Prague 😍 What can I tell you about Prague? - A beautiful city. The architecture - simply stunning. Although I've already lived in Barcelona for over a year and I'm starting to explore other places, I still walk around with an open mouth, utterly enchanted by these buildings/statues (excluding the street performers with moving body parts, of course 🙈🙁😳). I'd definitely take a photo every inch of local attractions, if only it weren't so cold. Zero degrees, oh my! 🥶 My hands freeze 🤭 But there are fewer tourists, so don’t think they are completely absent in Prague during winter; it’s not like we are the only "smart" ones 🙄: many locals, Asians, and a fair amount of Spaniards seem to be taking buses in too, we just happened to run into their groups with guides, or maybe we were just lucky 🤔, Italians, and other Europeans.
I’d happily return here in summer, just to enjoy ice cream cones 🍦🤤, leisurely stroll through the city in the warmth, and check out the famous sights (they were under renovation 😢) and walk down the narrowest alley (analogically 😏).
Just flip through the photo carousel, you can even spot a white bear dancing with a penguin, and 🤭🍇 The cost of dancing with the bear is about €2, I just wasn't that bold 😆🙈. »
« What a strange place... All my friends are completely enchanted, while I feel totally out of place. I guess I was just in an not-so-great mood. I really love to immerse myself in "silence," just me and nature. But here, it was all about the season and the beach, not the peaceful vibes I seek. I really didn’t enjoy that. The experience was quite the opposite for me; I ended up in a charming little village that had its own unique energy, and it didn't let me go. Despite a minor incident that happened with a local, I'll share that story in one of my future posts—I really liked him, and he seems to feel the same about me. 💫 »
« How strange, my first time in Prague. Of course, it’s worth seeing. An incredible history. A mass of landmarks that every tourist should see. But I surely fell in love, and my heart is surrendered. Once and forever. Therefore, coffee and pastries on the terrace. To the native, and to decide the matter ❤️ »
« Our trip to the zoo in the Czech Republic is definitely a must-visit place! It's considered one of the largest zoos in Europe, and of course, it's incomparable to smaller ones 😄. We went during the off-season, so we didn't see all the animals, but the zoo amazed me with its spaciousness and unique animals that I saw for the first time. The enclosures for the animals were stunning, with beautiful gardens and fantastic play areas for kids. The weather was around 3 degrees Celsius, but even with this temperature, the zoo was filled with greenery from the plants, and there were even blooming berries. »
« I attended an excursion, and honestly, there's nothing special to say about it here))) But the main thing is that Prague is undeniably a stunning city. »
« Almost 5 years since my last visit... I’m amazed at every step... It feels like everything has changed here... Perhaps it's becoming too touristy and too commercialized... It seems like it's losing its unique charm... However, I’m still curious to explore... »
« In the evening, Prague leaves a completely different impression than during the day, as its essence reveals itself: a city full of mysteries, legends, and secrets. »
« It's sunny in the morning, my eyes aren't used to this bright white disc in the sky, but my legs take me to wander through the streets. I like it here. »
« Last day. Prague, I'll be back!!! »
« If vacation photos appear after the trip, it means the vacation was a success!!!! I really didn't have time. Prague is such a magical and beautiful city that I wanted to see everything. As a result, I walked kilometers of winding streets, drank liters of delicious beer, and there is still so much left to see and try. I really, really want to return. Perhaps now it’s my favorite city. »
« We visited the oldest parts of Prague. The impression of the city has greatly improved. »
« City where it’s always nice! Prague. »
« 5 things I loved about Prague: 1) The zoo, where animals are kept in conditions close to their natural habitat. These cuties in the pictures were really eager to meet visitors! 😊 2) Italian gelato, which is everywhere here! 🍦 3) The safety on the streets and the relaxed demeanor of the locals. 4) The stunning architecture and beautiful streets. 5) The prices are quite reasonable. »
« Prague 🇨🇿 2015! Summer! The temperature is 12 degrees 😫 We came to see St. Vitus Cathedral. Inside, we didn't go in ☹️. The lines were so long that the desire vanished! Plus, all the Catholic collections were the same inside, no matter how cool it sounded 🤦♂️. »
« "Bringing you some lovely Prague houses!! Of course I love it here...I'll definitely come back again)" »
« Prague is an amazing city. I will definitely return. »
« Prague is undoubtedly a magnificent city—lively yet clean, majestic, modern, with very friendly people and delicious cuisine. I definitely want to come back...maybe I'll toss a coin! 🍀✨ »
