« The Marriott hotel in the outskirts of Munich, in Freising. A quick 15-minute shuttle ride to the airport (around $12 per person). I have to say, this is my favorite business hotel. Every time we stop here after spending time in the mountains, we're amazed – the design is constantly refreshed, everything is clean and tidy, as if we are the first guests in a brand new hotel. The room accommodates 4, with 3 beds, a full set of toiletries, organic tea, and "sleepy" chocolates. There's also an excellent Bavarian restaurant with some really old and delicious beer. The restaurant's interior impresses with its simplicity, but the details are what you have to see! And let me tell you about breakfast! I've never seen a buffet like this anywhere else! It consists of 4 "sections": a dairy corner with homemade Bavarian yogurts, a fruit bar, fresh pancakes made right in front of you, and various egg dishes cooked to order. Plus, the WiFi here is incredibly fast! And now, here's the best part! All this luxury for 4 people costs just $154 per night. Everyone should stop by here (if you're in the area). »
Finding accommodation in Munich is quite a challenge. The rental prices are not cheap, in fact, they are among the highest in Germany. Because of this, some people resort to unconventional methods for finding a roof over their heads. We spotted this ad yesterday at a traffic light. It catches the eye from a distance with its beautiful design and the quality of the paper it’s printed on. I hope the author's efforts pay off, and they get the desired apartment.
Here’s the text of the ad:
I, a 27-year-old true Munich resident, am urgently looking for an apartment. About me: open, reliable, employed (engineer), athlete.
About the apartment: around 430-540 sq. ft., up to $850 for everything. Additionally, the desired districts, phone number, and a promise of a reward of $425 for successful mediation. »
