« Today, I'm reminiscing about Reykjavik. I will definitely return to Iceland. »

« I'm back in beautiful Reykjavik. In 7 days, we traveled all around the island and it was unforgettable! Iceland is so stunning that even before leaving, I want to come back here. »

« Reykjavik! I fell in love with it immediately. Even though Iceland greeted us with rather gloomy weather, I knew it was just a deceptive feeling. Reykjavik made an amazing impression; I had never been to a city quite like this. The world's northernmost capital turned out to be very vibrant and colorful. You can tell that Icelanders have great taste. Almost every little house looks like it stepped right off the cover of an interior design magazine. There are so many shops filled with home decor and various designer gadgets. While we were waiting to check into our hotel, I managed to buy a really cool mug from one of those shops. ☕️✨ »

« For some inexplicable reason, I used to think that Reykjavik would be one of those cities where I wouldn't mind living. But no, no, not at all... :) »

« Of all the cities in the world, Reykjavik is least like Odessa. Everything here is just the opposite. There are no trains, no subways. In fact, there are no railways at all in Iceland! Only roads. It's rare to spot a police officer, there are no drive-by shootings, and the streets are smooth. Three-story houses, bright roofs, and faded walls adorned with legal street art. By the way, if you're an artist and decide to paint a house, you only need the homeowner's permission. If your artwork impresses the city administration, they might even pay you for it! Strolling the streets, you might encounter domestic cats with collars calmly lounging on their porches. In restaurants, locals play cards while waiting for lunch, and in the summer, shop windows entice with woolen sweaters. »

« The guesthouse in Reykjavik was the only thing I liked about this city. I'm not a fan of European cities. By the way, it's the northernmost capital in the world. »
