« Saint Peter's Church, Riga, Latvia. 02/23/2018
For 9 Euros, you get a decent view of the old city from the observation platform, which is not bad at all! 😊 »
@marijarudakova
« Wonderful place. The restroom is nearby, the entrance is a bit far, and there are plenty of toys... Tea with an amazing cake costs about 5 euros. 😊 »
@alinasammy
« I remember my words: "Two 'Alenka' chocolates for two euros, please." And right away, I felt this internal conflict. »
@safonov_igor
« There's also Riga :-) I really enjoyed the city, and the biggest surprise was the low prices. »
@michael_panov
« Riga is full of little restaurants, but the most famous one is definitely the Lido chain! Affordable prices and a wide variety of food. One of them is in the photo. Three floors for dining! )) »

« The street where the movie "Sherlock Holmes" was filmed. In the movie, it's London. We hired a personal guide and had a fantastic hour and a half stroll through the main sights for just 32$. »
@yuliyanika
« Parking in the center is €53)) The emotions gained during this time are priceless)) P.S. Of course, nobody actually intends to pay)) »
@yuliyanika
« St. Peter's Basilica - The city's calling card. You can go up to the observation deck for a fee of €9. »
@yuliyanika
« Car expenses in Latvia:
1 liter of gasoline E-95 just over €1
1 trip on public transport: €1.15 »

« "The ruble has fallen, but the Siberian never lost his cool and instead of a souvenir magnet (costing 5 euros), he just took a nut from the landmark!" »
@f_orange
« St. Peter's Basilica. Considering the exchange rate of the euro, it's only really interesting to see from the outside. Paying €9 per person just to take the elevator to the top feels a bit excessive. That's the price of a decent lunch. But the stunning architecture is indisputable. »

« "They will give the kitten to a good home! All for just €2,500... 😳 Meow) 😺😸🙀" »
@marijarudakova
« For the first time in my family life, I went to the Central Market for vegetables. If you don't mind spending around $1.60 for parking right at the entrance to the pavilion, you can buy so much in just 10 minutes! Now the whole car smells wonderfully of Korean carrots and sauerkraut. 😊🥕 »
@saunichkaa
« We visited the Laima chocolate factory. For 7 euros, they treat you to chocolate, explain the chocolate-making process, and then you get to make your own chocolate bar while recording funny videos. 🍫😄 »
@ravmari
« This trip, we booked hotels at the last minute and luck was on our side! We are in Riga! Without a map, not knowing the city, we popped into a café and the first thing that caught our eye on Booking was this four-room hostel.

I highly recommend the affordable, brand-new Patifon Room hostel (it cost us 31 dollars for a night for two, if you book directly, it might be even cheaper!). The owner, Alexander, is a very friendly man! 😊 »

« We're sitting here... there are five of us (that I can see) in the entire airport... maybe there's someone hiding somewhere... but all I hear is the hum of the ventilation and the sound of waiting nearby! A guy is wandering around like a ghost, back and forth... he doesn't know what to do. Torturing himself with the vending machines selling "golden" water ($1.60 to $2.70).... and we have to sit here until 6 AM.... waiting for another flight and then we'll be on our way!!!! »
@quietista
« The best view from above is once again in Riga. That's just how it is. What a city! But the price of 9 euros for this experience is quite steep. »
@alekseiproskurka
« Great place! Lido has three floors of national cuisine, outdoor entertainment, and its own brewery. Everything on the table cost around $38. »
@alekseiproskurka
« The Morning and the Boar are among many sculptures in the square, crafted from marble and iron. Just so you know, each one costs around $2,700. »
@moon_ksu
« I'm looking at the city and eating blueberries for $0.50 a basket. »
@gorzzza
« Riga is beautiful. The Old Town, especially. There are so many little restaurants with funny (compared to Germany) prices, pure paradise! »
@joyfulalma
« We climbed up St. Peter's Basilica. The entrance fee is €9. Just stunning... »
@begliy_uzbek
« Riga greeted us with great weather, delicious beer, and herbal liqueur, and also pleasantly surprised us with affordable prices. »
@dimitri181
« Many may not understand, but I haven't used public transport in 15 years, and today feels like an adventure))) It's actually quite fun; someone else does the driving for you. I might need to do this more often and not worry about where to park the car. The bus is clean, new, and the €1.25 is definitely worth it)) »
@olya_orange
« Riga Zoo. In winter (until January 25), it's better to come after 4 PM: they light up fires, more people show up, animals become more active, making it much more interesting. The entrance fee is 2 euros per person at that time, while during the day it's 6 euros and there are almost no animals around. »
