« Prices may have risen for us, or perhaps theirs have become more reasonable. »
@drongogo9005
« Parking in the city center is paid, but not everywhere. It costs around $20 a year, and that’s not a mistake or a joke... »
@lenskiy
« Cheap and cheerful — a capsule room for 10 euros per night. :) There are larger rooms as well, but I wanted something unusual. )) Very warm welcome, wonderful host, not far from the city center and a 24-hour shop. »

« Everyone's beloved airport. Small, a bit shabby, but thanks to it for the low-cost options. We just took a huge detour around Vilnius by turning the wrong way. Luckily, we found the bus to the airport right away (€1, 15 minutes and you're there). »

« I haven't met more cunning taxi drivers than here. For a 7-minute ride from the Cathedral to the station, Mr. Wojciech charged me 10 euros. In Poland, the most outrageous taxi drivers ask for half that amount for a longer distance. »
@yuliyanika
« During our stay there (we were there for 5 days), we just couldn't understand or even come to love the city. From our perspective, there wasn't much to see. We took a 2-hour tour that started daily at noon from the town square and cost €10 per person. They showed us some parks, back alleys, and so on... Nothing special... »

« I didn't sleep for 1.5 days, but getting to Vilnius for $17 and exploring half the city in 1.5 hours was priceless! 😄 »
@snellyrnd
« I traveled 18 hours by bus from Berlin to Vilnius. The ticket from Berlin to Vilnius cost me around $2.10, otherwise, I wouldn't have agreed to spend so much time on a bus, but I'm on a budget trip 😅 so I had to endure it! »

« In the city, as well as in the country, utility costs are among the highest in the European Union. For a one-bedroom apartment registered to one person, the average monthly bill is around $200. In winter, due to heating costs, it can get even pricier. So, when renting an apartment in Vilnius, keep in mind that you might end up paying more for utilities than for the rent itself. On the bright side, purchasing property here isn’t too expensive. Lithuania leads the world with 93% of its citizens owning some form of real estate. »

« The view of Vilnius from the Gediminas Tower is simply stunning. To be precise, it's not exactly from the tower itself, but from the hill where the tower is located. You can walk up for free until 11 PM or take the funicular for a small fee.

If you're interested, you can also enter the tower (entrance fee is $2). Inside, there’s a small two-story museum and an observation deck at the top. However, since the tower isn't particularly tall, the view from it doesn't differ much from the one you get from the hill. 😊 »

« I love seeing the city from above. In Vilnius, there are plenty of viewpoints; you could visit a new one every day (which is exactly what we do))) This photo is from the bell tower of the Church of St. Johns (admission $2.65). If you come around 5 PM, you can also enjoy the hot air balloon takeoffs – a lovely little bonus))) »
@valkovsky
« For just 2 euros, you can ascend Gediminas Tower to take in the city from its highest point and learn, for instance, that on August 23, 1989, around 2 million citizens of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia formed a human chain from Vilnius to Tallinn in a show of resistance against Soviet power. An inspiring tale of collective action. »

« Lithuania has always been famous for its linen. Last year, I had the chance to visit a linen manufacturing company in Vilnius through an acquaintance. They had a showroom with clothing, and I nearly lost my mind shopping at such ridiculously low prices. 🙈 Everything in the city costs about ten times more, but I still adore the natural materials. 😍 »
@abr_ya
« Our wonderful starless room in the center of Vilnius for just $12 per person!)) »
@holiday_by
« A great way to spend a rainy day in Vilnius while stimulating your mind. The cost is 16 dollars for adults, while children under 6 years old can enter for free. »
@strkvn
« Vilnius is such a charming city with the largest old town in Europe. Plus, there are plenty of cheap flights with low-cost airlines from here (averaging around $22). »
@dimkin_i
« And this is the cheapest room in the hotel in the city center. 40 euros. But that's not all - the kitchen in the room (even though breakfast is included) and a separate hallway didn't make it into the shot. »
