« It's normal that I couldn't post the promised update for three days because no photo fits in the profile. 🤷♀️ Yeah, it seems I have some issues.
So, here’s Amsterdam. There’s something for everyone here, with numerous museums, unique architecture, and food for every taste. If you're looking for new experiences, there's a square with red lights.
As for prices:
🔹Canal tours (boat trip with audio guide €12-€17). Perfect for those who love a relaxed vibe. We were on a boat full of seniors (or maybe some Koreans, who knows), and they were snapping selfies like they were real samurais, while we had to avoid being in the frame. It’s quite a chill experience, but the boats are crowded, making it a little tight for an overview.
🔹Museums. There are around 50 in Amsterdam, so everyone can find something for themselves. Ticket prices range from €8 to €27 per person. Students usually get discounts if they show their ID. Tickets for many museums are available online, so it’s wise to book in advance, especially during tourist season. Queues can get pretty long.
🔹Food. Just to be honest, we love to indulge in typical street food like kebabs and pancakes (average pancake menu for €9). In supermarkets, prices compared to other cities are about 20-30% higher, but upon entering the store, it's clear you're just "paying up" for quality.
🔹Coffee. I won’t go into details here, but I’ve read that a regular coffee costs around €3-€5, while an espresso with a macchiato goes for €5-€8.
That's about it, anything else you'd like to know about living here? Maybe something else interesting? »
The apartments offer stunning views of the city’s iconic sights, featuring two bedrooms, a modern bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area. The interiors are crafted with a unique focus on authentic industrial details. Staying in this unusual hotel will cost around $750 per night. »
Yesterday, I wanted to grab a beer at the Van Gogh Museum, and yes, they have that too. Heineken on tap in every corner! While we didn't go to the brewery itself, we stopped by a local bar instead. The price for a small beer was around $2.50. The bigger the beer, the cheaper it gets! By the way, the price of hot chocolate is also in the range of $2-2.50 for a small cup. »

After picking up my car, I headed back to the center to buy some treats. I had to circle around a couple of times to find a spot to park. You can park diagonally, as in the photo, or parallel to the street. It's essential to ensure your car is parked so that its edges don’t extend beyond the boundaries of the parking space; otherwise, you'll get fined. This is because the streets are narrow, and delivery trucks need to get through. Each open parking lot has a parking meter where you need to enter your car's number and pay with a card for the chosen parking duration. Driving in the city is quite easy because the speed limit allows you to focus on everything: pedestrians, cyclists, and traffic in general.
Today it was rainier than yesterday, but that doesn’t take away from the beauty of Amsterdam. All those lovely streets, buildings, and colorful trees (the trees still have leaves of brown, yellow, and green) contribute to a cheerful vibe inside. 🌧️✨ »
Over 2+ hours of browsing treasures ranging from $0.50 to $120.
I can barely even talk about it 😆
But the selection was quirky: jeans, nail polish, a baking dish, and a book holder - all mine now 😀💪🏼 »
And the skull turned out to be quite charming))
Just 10 € for an evening full of entertainment!
I received so many compliments and even some cash! »
