« I don't know the history of this house, but you might think it was built quite recently. In reality, the building was constructed almost a century ago, in 1924, by architect Gerrit Rietveld. This house is the only monument in the style of neoplasticism. Of course, living in such a house at the beginning of the 20th century was like taking a trip to the Moon 😄 By the way, the entrance ticket is also quite cosmic ($17). »

« Recently, the outings have been really interesting and rich! 🤩🤩🤩 Last Saturday, on our way to The Hague, we visited the enchanting De Haar Castle, located not far from the town of Utrecht in the Netherlands. The castle is surrounded by a beautiful park. The entrance fee to the castle and park is €17.50, while just entering the park costs €5, and parking is €4. »

« Today, I found myself at the large and vibrant flower market in the center of Utrecht. While humming the tune of "Here's my paradise...", alongside my husband's encouraging words "Choose what you like," I gradually strolled down the aisles 🌺🌼🌸.

Not being a huge flower lover, I ended up picking a stunning bouquet of tulips and a bouquet of gerberas ❤️. Now, about some practical matters...

So far, I haven't quite got used to converting prices from euros to what seems reasonable. Usually, I stumble upon foreign currency exchanges, and I'll be like: "Really, is a loaf of bread 30 euros?" 😄😄

However, today the market offered prices on a wonderful side compared to euros for goods. For example, 20 gerberas - 5 euros (~$5.30). Such a bouquet would cost me around ~ $25 elsewhere. 😱

50 tulips - 5 euros (~$5.30). You'd pay around $40 for a similar bouquet elsewhere. 😲

I boldly declare that the Netherlands is truly the ideal place for me 😄😄🇳🇱, filled with various flowers 🌷, cheese 🧀, charming "typical" houses 🏡, and canals 💧. »

« The castle is located right in the middle of nature, surrounded by an English park and even deer roaming around. Beautiful.

As for the interiors, of course, everything there is quite expensive. But for 18 euros, they will show you the main hall, the ballroom, the cabinet, and the kitchen. And that's it. Very much like a Rothschild experience 😎. We even initially didn't understand that it was all when after 20 minutes we returned to the reception. We spent more than three hours wandering through the Polish castle of the Teutonic Order.

In general, if you find yourself in Amsterdam in springtime when everything is blooming, or in summer to see it all, it's a must-see! 🌸🌻🌼🍃 »

« The view of the Gothic Cathedral of Utrecht is stunning, showcasing the tallest and oldest Gothic structure in the Netherlands. ⛪️ You can only get there through an excursion. Tickets are sold at the tourist info located near the cathedral, costing around €10. The excursions run several times a day in English and last about an hour. »

« Happy flower shopping💖.
The best part of visiting the local market is getting fresh flowers at amazing prices. This bouquet of 20 stylish roses cost only $5. 😋🙌 »
