« I've been dreaming of this and finally went to the Oslo Museum of Natural History!!! Three enormous dinosaur skeletons are displayed in the great halls, just overwhelming. These creatures, which roamed the Earth millions of years ago, leave a strong impression; there are no more marine reptiles with steel-like features out there. The presence of these giants is something else, and luck seems to be on their side until the end of time. »

« Oslo 🇳🇴 ✔️Why go there: ▪️ to marvel at the land of the Vikings ▪️ to be surrounded by very strange monuments of all kinds - the feeling that Norwegians have more to offer than just these landmarks and three unique museums available for viewing - it’s essential to experience them for yourself ▪️ prices are high for everything - they have reduced their own living standards ✔️When and for how long: summer, 1-2 days ✔️What to visit: ▪️ the Royal Palace - arguably the most budget-friendly palace in the world, it looks like a Soviet cloud, only contemporary Norwegian churches really steal the show, almost looking like a kids' drawing competition ▪️ the Viking ships museum, there are three of them, and they are practically identical and right next to each other - you can visit one, or two or three with a single ticket for the first, it seems like it can’t be done, but it showed me that in principle, it’s manageable, visiting the remaining two ▪️ Akershus Fortress from the 13th century 👌▪️ Frogner Park with its amazing sculptures - a grotesque showcase of antiquity ▪️ cozy center, but nothing particularly special ✔️What to try: ▪️ reindeer meat, in various versions ▪️ fennel - a banded bar ▪️ fish soup with salmon ▪️ terrine and lutefisk - a dish made of tripe ▪️ crumb cake - that’s pastry) ✔️Cons: ▪️ it’s not really a tourist-friendly place for a living, so if you’re going to Norway, head straight to nature ▪️ prices - just crazy, a pack of Malboro for $8 is a good deal, great not to smoke) ... the average salary in Norway is €4400 ✔️Lifhak: ▪️ check the bus schedule to Rygge airport in advance, there’s no electricity there, my flight from Oslo was at 10 PM, but already at 6 PM, there was nothing to take me there (the taxi was more expensive than the flight...) ▪️ buy the Oslopass card for the days - public transport and museums are free with it.
✔️My rating: 4 out of 10. »

« Day 2. Just as classy))
Today was sunny again!!! So much joy is overwhelming)
Now my dream is to spend the summer in the fjords) In Norway, it's priceless, to be honest. Just like that, my sixth day in the new year 😊😊😊 »

« It's always cloudy here, and the sun's rays are as precious as gold... Oslo - a city of contrasts and immigrants... A mixed impression... I need to come back))) »

« I really like Oslo — it’s right, northern, geometric, architectural, modern. A city for Life, you can feel it on every street and in every square; although there's also room for contemplating beauty, with a touch of extravagance and an attempt at rationalized provocation. 😊 »

« Norway. The land of famous Norwegian fjords. The nature is truly magnificent. That's really the only reason to come back here. As for the urban attractions and sights (in my case, Oslo) - we saw them and that’s enough. There's nothing particularly outstanding. »
@meta255
« We really liked Oslo. Despite the reviews on forums claiming there’s nothing to do in this city, we're glad we set aside a day for strolling around the capital of Norway. The port city boasts a beautiful waterfront with numerous restaurants. 🌊🍴 »

« In Oslo, there’s definitely not much to do, but I really liked the city! It felt nice there ☺️ »

« Good night to you, my dear ones! It's quite strange to go to bed when it's bright outside. I'm pleasantly impressed by Oslo, but I still can't figure out how one can sleep when it's daytime outside and the clock shows midnight. Where do the white nights come from? »

« I absolutely love this city and the combination of colors in it! »
