« Today started with a ride on the metro. A ticket for a single journey costs 33 NOK, which is about $3. After that, there are options for day passes, weekly passes, and so on. 🚆✨ »

« This is my second time in Norway and I'm blown away by the prices. The express train from Oslo Airport to the city center costs 180 NOK, which is about $16. They charged 180 NOK for the ticket from my card. The journey takes 35 minutes. »

« We are in Oslo. This is Kostya's second beer. It's drinkable, costs around $9. That's all for now. »

« Compared to Stockholm, it feels a bit grittier here, more urban, and honestly, not much for a tourist with a camera to do. BUT! The nightlife is vibrant; this city doesn’t completely shut down at 9 PM like some other places do, and there are 24-hour convenience stores. 😄 In these stores, some hotels leave keys for late check-ins, just like in our case. The very idea of a "24-hour shop" is quite foreign to European ears—any European ears. Even the IKEA store in Sweden closes at 9 PM, while in some other cities, it might be open until 2 AM! So, that's how it goes. Meanwhile, prices keep creeping up as you move away from home. »

« Exploring Norway on your iron horse, it's essential to understand the toll roads and the overall high cost of living in this country. Refueling an average car will set you back around $95, considering the current exchange rate. Oh, and euros? They don't work here! 🚗💨 »

« Well, on the last evening, we decided to go all out and visit a more upscale place. The dessert that impressed me the most was the Trollkrem, which seems to have no troll involvement. The key when choosing dishes is not to convert the prices in your mind to dollars. »
