« 🇲🇽 – the most popular resort town in Mexico. The beaches of Cancun are on the bucket list of people from all over the world. Today we'll talk about what interesting things to see in this place and how to get there. The accessibility of Cancun is not just limited to the beaches. One of the most interesting places worth visiting is the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza. This site has been part of the Seven Wonders of the World since 2007. Chichen Itza is a cultural and historical center of the Mayan civilization. You can easily get there by bus. Also, not far from Cancun (about 6 miles) lies Isla Mujeres. This island got its name because of the numerous shrines to the goddess of fertility.

On the northern part of the island, there is a popular sandy beach, while on the southern side you'll find steep rocky shores. You can get there by ferry from the hotel zone (around $8.50). Another popular attraction in Cancun is the Mayan Museum. Admission to the museum costs $3. In the southern part of the area, where the hotels are located, you'll find the ruins of El Rey, which have been preserved since the ancient times. This place is definitely a delight for fans of ancient cultures.

Also not far from the shores of Isla Mujeres lies a submerged museum (around 400 sculptures, located underwater). However, the cost of tickets there starts from $50. How much does food cost? If you're looking for something cheaper, head to the center of Cancun, where you'll find plenty of cafes and restaurants where you can treat yourself to traditional Mexican dishes. A meal will cost you starting from $7.

Staying in downtown Cancun is also cheaper than in the hotel zone. Prices for accommodations start at $7 per night. Occasionally, there are direct flights from various cities, and the most convenient and inexpensive option is flying to Milan (and then taking a connecting flight). There are also direct flights from cities in the US. »

« In Mexico, it's citrus season, and the price of mandarins, oranges, and other fruits is nearly zero dollars😳 For instance, during a trip to Uxmal, which boasts pyramids far more grand and famous than Chichen Itza, we stopped by some abandoned plantations. You know, a mandarin forest! »

« We’ve just arrived in the touristy part of Mexico. It feels like a completely different country. While in Mexico City, you need to know some Spanish, here everything is designed for Americans; they even have English signs and American stores and restaurants. Prices are definitely higher. Just yesterday, I forgot where I was in the store—it was so comfortable I forgot to buy water. It's still surprising that in some countries you have to pay for water. Cancun has tons of activities: cenotes, Mayan villages, ancient city ruins, and of course, beaches, diving, and snorkeling. The water is incredibly warm, even though it’s winter. If I compare it to Australia, the vibe is similar to Cairns in terms of climate and nature. And if I think about the U.S., it reminds me of Hawaii, especially with all the tribal souvenirs. »

« A one-day tour: visiting Chichen Itza, Ik-Kil Cenote, and the medieval town of Valladolid. The price is lower than what tour operators offer. Plus, we don’t waste an extra four hours picking up tourists from various hotels 😜 We travel in comfortable vehicles, no minibuses 😜 Only on toll roads, passing by those shops selling fake silver, tequila, and "cheap" souvenirs 😜 And the best part: we show you the Pyramid of Kukulkan when there are no vendors or other tourists in the archaeological zone 👍🏼 You can clearly see in the photo that there's hardly anyone at Chichen Itza 😉 »

« Excursions to the pristine spots of the Caribbean Sea. Prices are affordable. A whole day of pleasure. »

« There aren’t that many clubs in Cancun. The entrance fee is up to $100. »
