« Here it is, Sharjah. We are amazed! It's hard to believe that 40 years ago this was just an empty desert. I've never seen so much glass, metal, and polished stone! »

« The view of Sharjah from Dubai is stunning. The borders between the emirates are almost invisible and quite conditional for tourists. You realize you're in another emirate when the taxi meter adds 20 dirhams. I personally prefer Sharjah more than Dubai. It's more colorful and less hectic, and it feels like there are fewer tourists around. 😊 »

« My impressions. Sharjah feels quite rustic and is incredibly dusty. »

« The Sharjah waterfront. I enjoyed Sharjah more than Dubai. »

« We took a trip to the Indian Ocean in Sharjah, and my feelings are mixed. It's a strict emirate. It annoys me that you can't swim freely, and it’s frustrating that you can’t just walk around without restrictions. I even had to endure swimming in a T-shirt and capris—at first, I imagined myself as a freediver, but then I froze on the shore in those clothes. They were so tight that I felt even more exposed than if I were in a swimsuit. I consider myself understanding and tolerant, but three days without proper swimming becomes a bit overwhelming. »
