Metro
Los Angeles Metro costs $1.75 per ride, providing extensive coverage across the city including Hollywood and downtown, and you can pay easily with a TAP card available at vending machines in stations. « Well, what can I say... it's Love 💖! But it happened that I didn't fall in love with it right away! Imagine, at first, I was not impressed at all. The vastness of the place, transitioning into the new era, while also being a bit stuck in the past. You drive and drive in traffic from Malibu to Santa Monica, then Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Glendale, and only then Downtown... which is basically just that... LA? The truth is, LA is mainly Downtown, everything else is just a massive aggregation of 17 million angels (that’s what they call the inhabitants here) 😅. It’s worth noting that the lifestyle you find in LA is addictive - you find yourself enjoying this vibe immediately! After all, LA is beautiful in every way: almost every block and intersection is something you’ve seen in movies, 360 days a year the sun shines ☀️, and there's always an ocean nearby. So, what else do you need for happiness? 🤩

On top of that, LA is indeed one of the global centers of creativity and innovation! Here you have the famous Hollywood, and the SpaceX headquarters with its star-studded startups. It’s a ground of great opportunities, where even a muscular Australian guy can become one of the most popular actors and eventually a governor of California. Therefore, if you had to choose between New York and LA, it’s definitely leaning toward Los Angeles. However, I still haven’t been to San Francisco and San Diego ☺️. « Riding a bike along Santa Monica Beach is my paradise. Cyclists, runners, skaters, and just leisurely strollers everywhere. I absolutely love it here. I can confidently say that LA is truly a city of angels. I want to stay here forever! 🌴🚲✨ »

« Hollywood is a place where dreams shatter, there are a lot of homeless people, and it generally has a bad smell. To be honest, I really didn't enjoy my time in Los Angeles at all. »

« Yesterday we spent the whole day in Los Angeles! And it was simply a wonderful day filled with so many emotions and impressions. I discovered LA completely from a different side, or I would even say in a new way ;) »
