« The Spassky Cathedral of the Spaso-Andronikov Monastery is the oldest temple in Moscow, built on the outskirts of the Kremlin (1420-1425). This cathedral was painted by the famous Andrei Rublev himself. To this day, only fragments of the frescoes have survived. »
« My attempt to explore the area was a bit of a letdown! I mean, the snow and cold (I’m used to getting around by car and not walking), so I ended up not staying in the hotel in the city center, but rather in a typical neighborhood nearby? I don’t really know 🤷♀️. I honestly tried, walked around, visited a few famous spots and recommended places from friends, and I even liked it a bit, but every day in the morning, I found myself embarking on a "cultural program" and whenever I had the chance, I was under the impression that I might just freeze. Overall impression: cold, damp, and a bit lifeless. Not my vibe! ☃️ »
We decided to check out this area, and it's already a great place for good vibes. The Tretyakov Gallery nearby is definitely worth a visit. »
