« It’s hard not to chuckle when you spot a guy with a toothy grin holding a bunch of colorful artifacts. Just hang around the bustling markets in Mombasa, and you’ll see lively vendors decked out with toothy pastes and bright beads. It’s surprising how they manage to sell such art through this hustle! 😅
In the midst of all this vibrant atmosphere, there's an elderly gentleman playing music on some traditional instrument. 🎶 His skill is impressive, and it’s refreshing to see people appreciating creativity: across Kenya, it’s common to see art on buildings rather than pasted posters (which, I must say, looks stunning!). The artwork here is genuinely beautiful; people are creating such incredible pieces. 😍
Just yesterday, my friend picked up a fantastic batik fabric with elephants for a mere $7 (the price really dropped from about $31). There’s no shortage of creativity here! 🦏🌈 »
