« I'm really glad that we visited the YUAAR and Zimbabwe – the contrast is incredibly bright.

My last two visits to Africa were nothing like what I imagined: dusty roads, people sitting far from the main streets, not a very affluent population, and poor service. The "shopping" experience for souvenirs was something. A particularly memorable moment was when we approached a local attraction (a 1500-year-old baobab), and local residents suddenly started showing up, selling their usual souvenirs while actively promoting them. When it comes to buying from them, it’s better to avoid it; as soon as you pull out your wallet, they might snatch it and escape back into the jungle (our guide warned us about this).

In YUAAR, I really enjoyed the unbelievable nature and beautiful wildlife. Almost everyone speaks English. The local cuisine is incredibly delicious (like seafood and meat), with a great variety of choices and really affordable wine. Overall, it feels a bit like Europe but with its own unique landscapes and zebras wandering around. In a word, YUAAR is ❤️. »

« Don't you remember the cartoon "Madagascar"? Where such unusual and funny penguins live in the heat and have fun? And we certainly think they only live in cold places 🐧 But guess what? They found their home in warm and beautiful Southern Africa on the beach at Boulders Beach. 🏖️ And they don't mind the presence of people at all; in fact, they’ll show you who the real hosts are. 😄 You could spend the whole day there, a week, or even a month—your soul will thank you for it! You can also swim with them! They love the water just as much 😂 and can even do some tricks, so keep an eye out for them. ;) It's a must that when you arrive at the spot, you look around—did you happen to drive one of those cars? 🤔 You might just be reminded of the signs around! The entrance fee is quite reasonable, just $8 per adult. Just make sure not to disturb them, or you might face a fine. Stunning emotions—GUARANTEED not just for the day but for a lasting memory!!! 🐧🐧🐧 »

« 4. Cape Town and the surrounding area is truly a paradise for surfers. There are spots for beginners and advanced surfers alike. But there’s a nuance – Cape Town is located on the Atlantic Ocean and in winter (which is now), I must say it's quite chilly. The water temperature in Cape Town ranges from 39°F to 48°F. Back home, where I live, the water is about 57°F to 63°F in winter (June to early September) and from 64°F to 73°F in summer (late November to early May). Cape Town is blessed with an ideal climate: throughout the year, there aren't any drastic temperature swings.

Surfboard and wetsuit rentals are much cheaper than in Portugal, for instance. Surf+gear for the entire day in my hometown costs just about $14. Surfboards alone are around $8-10, and the wetsuit is about $3. In Cape Town, for example, in Muizenberg, we paid $12 for two boards and two wetsuits for two hours, which is very affordable. »
