Baphuon

  Baphuon stands just northwest of the famed Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, a significant temple complex that dates back to the mid-11th century during the reign of King Udayadityavarman II. Originally dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, this large, three-tiered temple features a distinctive 70-meter-long sleeping Buddha carved into its west side, which became a focal point for visitors.
