Royal Gardens
Royal Gardens sits just north of the iconic Angkor National Museum in Siem Reap. Established during the French colonial period in the early 20th century, the gardens exemplify classical garden design, featuring well-maintained lawns and vibrant flora. Spanning approximately 7 hectares, they serve as a serene recreational space where locals and visitors can enjoy leisurely walks, picnics, or simply relax under the shade of the trees. In December and January, the gardens are particularly covered in colorful blooms, offering an excellent backdrop for photography. As you stroll through, be sure to observe the diverse bird species that often inhabit the area, adding life to this tranquil escape.
