Terrace of the Elephants

  Terrace of the Elephants, dating back to the late 12th century, is one of the notable features of Angkor Thom in Siem Reap. Built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII, this platform was used for royal ceremonies and public gatherings, showcasing its historical significance. Located adjacent to the Bayon Temple, the terrace stretches 300 meters and is adorned with intricate bas-reliefs depicting elephants and mythical creatures.
